I really thought the sensitivity of David Remnick was refreshing and really provided opinions which made the debate healthy.

Remnick was totally owned by Ross and Zuckerman. Charlie why do you continue to have on this smug, self important empty suit?

This was a largely accurate discussion. It was marred by David Remnick's extreme unfairness inaccuracy and stupidity. He slandered Avigdor Leiberman and spoke about Israel's occupation of a Palestinian state when there has never been a Palestinian Arab state. He questioned the internal loyalty of Israel's population after having spoken to a few members of the business elite. As opposed to Remnick both Mort Zuckerman and Dennis Ross were accurate and fair in their remarks. Ross was especially insightful regarding the diplomatic process. But I think all three underestimated the degree of opposition there is to any real peace with Israel on the part of the Palestinians.

End the Occupation; find a path to Peace and Two (not One) State(s). Clear desires. Difficult to achieve. Patience.
Left and Right; business and labor; nationalist and Islamist. Is peace possible? What about Northern Ireland? Patience.
The tragedy of occupation. The core of DISBELIEF. This core may be found inside every issue in the Middle East and and the middle west.
The Center held! We hope. Iran? Syria? Arab spring? Peace not Second Holocaust? History not Geography?

Oh Bibi, you red line bomb drawer:
BRZEZINSKI: Get off the silly argument, all the options are on the table. What does that mean? We better commit suicide as one of those options? Start a war? The end of which we cannot foresee? That doesn't make any sense to me as a matter of national policy and I don't think the country would support it.
And I don't buy the absolute ridiculous, irrational, argument that the Iranians are so suicidal that the country of 75 million people or 80 million people is going to rush into committing suicide the moment it gets the first prototype of its bomb. That even ignores the scientific fact that bombs have to be tested, that you have to have from a military point of view quite a number of them to be credible, et cetera, et cetera. So we're not dealing with an imminent threat, a reaction to which should be decided by someone else drawing red lines for us.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BENJAMIN NETANYAHU, ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER: A red line should be drawn right here.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
Netanyahu was at the UN with a cartoon bomb, and drew a red line on it like a Mayan Prophet, and people are surprised at the outcome of an election?

When everyone has 5 thousand pairs of shoes, I think shoe ads and marking will be not needed. Or you think more aggressive shoe ads and marketing are needed to educate a man, so he will purchase another 5 thousand pairs of shoes in addition to his current 5 thousand pairs of shoes ????

authentically, for Chinese, the only hope is Chinese Communist Party, who has lead us experiencing the true history in the land.

AP said Netanyahu - and, it appears, everyone else - was broadsided. Tho it had long been clear that many Israelis were not happy with his domestic, if not his foreign policies, and the point about the fundamentalists is well-taken, it's hard to see this result as anything less than a repudiation of the hardliners as well. Of course, it can be considered a victory for the US president, too. While there are good arguments for reaching agreement as soon as possible on a two-state solution by those who advocate it, I think the path to peace will now run through Cairo and I hope Morsi will continue to receive American support.
