The Wolverine sings!!! ..thank you Mr. Jackman, you were clear, direct, and believable.

Ms. Hathaway blended fine voice with fine expression and made her "dream" also quite clear, direct, and heartfelt. Well done!

As 'Direct-or', Mr. Hooper gave us many things to think about, ..highlighting the 'ledges' of our decisions.

A little long in the 'singing-and dancing' about prostitution, and anarchy -- I did enjoy the film's repeated reminders of opportunities for rebirth ( ..in contrast to this discussion's use of the word "redemption".)

I liked the butterfly exercising its wings on the wrought-iron gate as Marius and Cosette met with each other.

I felt sad when Javert couldn't embrace that possibility in his own life.

(By the way, Mr. Crowe, you delivered that farewell song clearly, directly, and believably as well. Thanks!)
