Extremists killed our Ambassador. They do not admire or want open minds in an open society. Tony Blair is their enemy and our friend.

We cannot be on the side of the extremists. They must be killed and their designs prevented from taking root in our time. Our effort should avoid killing innocents or sacrificing our brave men and women in uniform.

One answer is narrow US Seal like attacks.

These attacks need voices like Tony Blair's behind them to maintain the progress civilization has already achieved.

Mr. Blair says the reaction to the video is completely wrong and over the top and absurd. We have the open minded versus the closed minded. That is the battle going on.

      Well happy banned books week:

Blue tie with a blue background is not good for you Tony Blair; looks like someone pulled him out of the morgue.

He tells us that revolutions begin but where do they end and that is the problem.

Indeed. Babies are born but what will they become and that is the problem.

Perhaps we can have this thing called a civilization and fill it with good people who have revolutions that get rid of the bad people and then the good people give us goodness.

So who in Syria is any good?

One thing I appreciate about the current UK govt is that we rarely get much sermonizing from them. Only the foreign minister now and then. Might be a good reason to support Mr Romney. Regarding Palestine I wonder what Mr Blair thinks regarding performance of the 1994 Paris Protocol?
