What was obviously missing from Water.org's Messrs. Damon and White was any indication of actual costs, particularly of Mr.White's Slingshot equipment. What does the unit cost as the only available information is vague about the cost ex the factory and the ancillary equipment. Who pays for it and how? Does the operating entrepreneur buy or lease the water station,do the users pay for the water, to charge their electronic devices or for any other service offered at the location? Do the users get a credit for supplying the dirty liquid, whatever? In these remote locations how are services and maintenance provided and who pays?

      Many unanswered questions.

      NCP2:

In demonstrating the importance of "process" to understanding anything comprehensively, Mr White used the term "TRAJECTORY" and Mr Damon used the term "REAL TIME" in their conversation with Mr Rose. Yet neither conceptual term is in their normative lexicon as both had to stop for a second as if to pick a term that was descriptive of the concept that they wanted to convey. Here one has to remember that everyones lexicon, imagery, organization and thought process is as indivdual as a fingerprint. Which means no two peoples process of thinking and articulation is the same. So the question becomes what are the sources from which these two concepts came and do we see any similarities in the way these two concepta are being articulated?

Here one might interject the quote that, "The art of being influential is to do it without anyone knowing it is being done." To wit one has to know process and mechanism in order to be able to accomplish that task.

Setting aside the the topic of providing a path for people to help themselves, the most important thing said during this show was Mr Roses statement that, "HE DOES NOT PAY ATTENTION TO PROCESS." Maybe that is the reason why Mr Mant thinks that Mr Rose does not see the truth of the matter when it is staring him right in the face but sticks to the visceral perception of the conventional wisdom.

Mr.Damon had financial backing for his anti-natural gas movie 'Promisedland' by the Middle East oil cartel who are opposed to America becoming energy independent.

"While left-leaning Hollywood often targets supposed environmental evildoers, Promised Land was also produced “in association with” Image Media Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media, according to the preview’s list of credits. A spokesperson with DDA Public Relations, which runs PR for Participant Media, the company that developed the film fund backing Promised Land, confirmed that AD Media is a financier. The company is wholly owned by the government of the UAE."

Who would believe that Mr.Damon a greenie to his core is backed by an OPEC member?

Wonderful...turn the poor into consumers. I noticed there was a tv available for news....which news? Wonderful....permit poor women to free up their time so they can become domestic servants! What a lofty goal. How about focusing on the heaps of military spending and the greed of these companies that want to open up new markets...they have drained the West...let's go 1%.

According to Bloomberg News: "One of the chief components of Damon’s organization is WaterCredit, which provides microloans to help people obtain access to water." 'The conventional wisdom is that all poor people are too poor to pay for water services,” White said sitting alongside Damon in the interview. “We see the poor as potential customers who have intrinsic power. A microloan gives a water connection so they don’t have to go to a loan shark.'" See http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-09-25/matt-damon-s-major-role-in-finding-clean-water-for-world.htm l

Mr Damon is also in the news for his anti-fracking diatribe, Promised Land, which according to Phelim McAleer of the New York Post (http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/opedcolumnists/for_his_next_escape_x46uFSONrAaCey67ZzZV0I) had to be rewritten because the truths proved inconveniently untrue. The rewrite is frankly too complicated for me, but perhaps it will appeal to conspiracy theorists.
