Sophisticated and polite mendacity is at work here. I was surprised that Charlie Rose let the ridiculous claim about Saudi Arabia's superior treatment of women go by. How many women in Saudi Arabia are in politics? How many are allowed to have meaningful jobs?

Eight million foreign workers do the dirty work in Saudi Arabia. There is unemployment among Saudis because they do not wish to do the dirty work. One huge family- hamula has a corner on the major wealth, and millions are made dependent on them.

I was too surprised that Charlie Rose did not ask questions about Saudi Arabia's alleged involvement in funding foreign mercenaries operating against the Assad regime.

Charlie did not ask directly about the murderous terror which pervades the Islamic world.

The savages behind this non-sense is the American Freedom Defense Initiative a group run by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer, and any violence resulting from the message on these signs then we all know who are the responsible people to be held accountable.

Saudi Arabia and the shia mullah mafia of Iran are responsible for promoting islamofascism.

Why did you cut off Turki al-Faisal when he started to speak about the catastrophic consequences of a Israeli attack on Iran with probable US support? This subject needs a complete discussion.

Charlie I was taken back and even surprised you didn't follow up the statement Prince Said made about Nethanyau and his current role - MTP interview - to replace the US Govt.

How come you're unable to make it your entire next programme just to focus on US - Israel relation, and the consequence of Nethanyau's intervention in current election (on behalf of Romney).

      @ Ricardo_Amaral ,

"Maybe the Arabs finally started to grasp what has been going on..."

Seems like you have not grapsed what has been going on. The masses of Arabs and Persians are (have been for a long time) oppressed by tyrants; and the people have reached a boiling point.

Arabs and Persians set themselves to self-destruction by not standing up to their tyrants and fighting for their liberty.

This has not occurred by a (paranoid) conspiracy of The West. The West (mostly U.S.) has put much into (trying) to build-up these countries. How much (U.S. lives & money) spent in Iraq and Afghanistan? The U.S. will forgive about $1 billion of Egypt's debt. This is in addition to the nearly $2 billion that the U.S. has annually given to Egypt. Etc...

Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi were not 'leaders', they were tyrants. It is tyrants like these who have brought the Arabs and Persians "to the brink of a tragedy", not The West.

      June 13, 2005

SouthAmerica: In June 2003, I wrote an article regarding “Brazil and Saudi Arabia” that caught the attention of the Brazilian State Department in Brazil. As soon as the article was published on Brazzil magazine, on the same day, the Brazilian government posted a copy of my article at the Brazilian State Department’s website in Brazil.

Later, I also found out that my article had been circulated among members of the Saudi Arabian Royal family, and also among senior members of the Saudi Arabian government.

A week after my article was published, I received a letter from the Saudi Arabian government inviting me for a visit to Saudi Arabia.

It is my understanding that my article had an impact in the outflow of Saudi Arabian money going out of the United States in the following months after that article was published.

Since the Saudi Arabian government got in contact with me, I continued corresponding with the Saudi Arabian official who had contacted me.

During the summer of 2004, I had the pleasure of meeting him in person here in New Jersey, when he was in the United States on a business trip doing a road show on behalf of his organization.

I told him that the reason that I wrote that article was that I wish there were a way that I could help to bring the governments of Brazil and governments of the Arab countries of the Middle East; including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar to a much closer business and economic relationship.

When I met my new Saudi Arabian friend, our meeting was very productive in the area of the exchange of ideas. I learned a lot from him regarding Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

My article was an eye opener for a lot of people in Saudi Arabia. He told me that he used to have two bank accounts here in the United States until recently, but he closed both accounts after reading my article, and moved his money to a safer place out of the USA.

He also told me that he knew many other people in Saudi Arabia that were doing the same thing; moving their money out of the USA, just in case.

Has been two years since that article was published, but today I still receiving emails from people regarding that article, because they found the article only now or because someone else gave them a copy of the article for them to read it.

Here is a copy of my article that caught the attention of so many people in the United States, in Brazil, in Saudi Arabia, and around the world. (I said around the world because I received emails regarding this article from people in Europe, Asia, Middle East, South America, Canada, and the United States.)

SouthAmerica: The Saudi government must be in Panic right now.

The assassination of Prince Bandar shows that the Saudi Monarchy is very vulnerable, and can collapse before the world realizes what is happening.

If a civil war also starts in Saudi Arabia most likely the assets of the Saudi government and of the members of the Saudi Royal family it will be frozen in Europe and also in the United States. They will be the next prey of the international banksters and their international network of thieves.

      August 20, 2012

The President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad just met with the leaders of Saudi Arabia at Mecca in Saudi Arabia to come to an understanding and an agreement between the Arabs and Persians.

Arabian politicians understand that if they play to the flute of the West completely, if they comply with all the wishes of their Western partners, that it will take them to the brink of a tragedy.

Maybe the Arabs finally started to grasp what has been going on: it is a very simple strategy called "Divide and Conquer" – First, you destroy Iraq, then Libya, then Egypt, then Syria, then Iran, then Bahrain, then Saudi Arabia, then Qatar, then United Arab Emirates, and so on....

One day the Arabs wake up and all their countries have been devastated and are in chaos just like Libya after NATO's intervention – and their leaders and their family have been killed like Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi.

The handwriting is on the wall: If you look around in Iraq, in Libya, in Egypt, in Iran, and in other Arab countries then you realize that it's just a matter of time for countries such as Saudi Arabia to have all its assets including the Saudi government, or any member of the Saudi Royal family to be confiscated in the name of some silly excuse, but the real real reason is to pillage all their financial and all kinds of economic resources.

He HOPES those 70,000 young men and women will return to Saudi Arabia. Because if Mr Rose and many in both parties had their way, they wouldn't. May be a good thing we are so Islamophobic. Unlike most, I believe, in the Middle East, Americans are not jealous, but rather envious; don't seek dignity, but rather acceptance, and the only real difference between the political parties here is the degree to which they demand retribution for its denial. I'm sure that's why rebels in these places are wary of American help. The problem I see with his idea of a Security Council guarantee is that members of the Security Council are those countries which many in the Middle East are seeking protection from. But I agree that Netanyahu is trying to see his long-time friend Mitt Romney elected, who, incidentally, parrots his views.
