actually i could be wrong but i think i read somewhere that it's more cost effective for people to get diabetes because of early death (correcting earlier statement haven't really thought about this stuff)
i don't know if that would be the full picture or not though (when i see people eating at mcdonald's i just tell people you know that stuff is going to kill you and then i don't think about it anymore) usually everybody already knows
i figure that's the most i can do
in india they have vegetarian mcdonald's (i don't know how healthy it is)
when you live in a place where there are no fat people (i might see a fat person once per month) they get really self conscious about it and then they leave
you can look at it like you weren't fat at one point in your life you started gaining weight and you did nothing to stop it and now it just seems like quality of life would be so low
you think there's something seriously wrong with that person they have no self control over anything can't think beyond the next five minutes addicted to terrible things make average people sick
but then i did the exact same thing in another way (probably in effect a thousand times worse and more extreme)
addictions and resorting to momentary suicidal self destructive escapisms no matter how small are hard distractions not addressing issues
it's a serious problem
i think just trying to address everything in a comprehensive manner one notch at a time hopefully you do it in time before you die or before you're seriously crippled in life
definitely prevention is the way to go and addressing things successfully early
these are all things i need to address within myself i feel like it's too late i felt like i was given the most extreme hardcore addiction distraction dream possible to overcome
i can blame the advertisers or i can just accept responsibility i knew i was killing myself i kept hoping and kept dreaming because i got addicted to it
and it's all relative because as extreme as it got for me things were just as extreme before hand but as the effect of things wore off the intensity of the advertising kept going up (and the promise and the dream)
but i think i've maxed out i feel dead (and i am too) but maybe a miracle who knows
you have to never give up losing your mind is terrible thing it's hard to come back from it because you need your mind to do well and to get better
it's hard to think clearly with a broken arm and a smashed leg that's getting eaten alive by gangrene it's like total chaos and maybe the psychological association of eating this piece of candy will get you through the next two seconds
and then the next two seconds and then the next two seconds and then the next two seconds
it's like dying just keep hitting the morphine button (it feeds the gangrene) life sucks

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4r7JH17IC4&feature=related (Alan Keyes on homosexuality)
this is why i have to always look good (be healthy) and feel good because if i don't then people try to kill me because people are attracted to me but simultaneously disgusted by me this is why you have to protect environmentalism pass universal health care and adopt i scientific way of thinking so that you can understand your emotions and use them to your benefit

anyway i don't have time for the internet anymore (i wish everybody the best - i really do)
i just want to live in the world and be in a separate life (where i can try to get better and recover in peace)
ps - i'm just joking about everything don't take it seriously you're free to do whatever you want but if you want to live a comfortable life vote for science (that's something you can trust) - it's something i'm still working towards achieving
are you content and do you feel good that's all it is that's the secret in that moment you can have whatever you want the goal is to make these sensations everlasting
pps - i just have to add this research the health risks when you're taking medications though
i don't have any agenda i'm trying to push i'm going to sleep

Bob Woodward has just finished explaining the politics of a dysfunctional American government to Charlie Rose on 12 September in the am Pacific time. I interpret his explanation as a charge against Pres. Obama of failure of leadership.
In this conversation with David Leonhardt on 10 September we touch on the effect of bubbles and the continued threat to the American economy of 20 years of falling behind in manufacturing and the performance of our students in math and science compared to other nations.
At he heart of the matter in these Charlie Rose conversations is the output of the American economy in terms of the sinews of military, industrial and scientific power.
Money and price per se cut no ice with the future ascendancy or decline of the American nation compared with the future performance of our rivals and close allies as manufacturer; research technologist in cyber-tech, fuel and energy, education and training, biology, materials, weapons and military science; diplomacy; law and economics; etc.
If we decline it will be both cause and effect of American handling of skilled people and the systems that create them. Decline will include rejection of our money and performance of our finished products required for war and peace.
At the end of WWII, in which Germany and Japan nearly defeated America, Russia and Great Britain, we were warned of the power of unemployment to destroy democracy before our eyes. Under the pursuit of cheap labor, American corporations have bought our government and may be instrumental in their own defeat and our overall decline in relative prosperity and security security.
It all boils down to reality -- not to temporary profit. Unless we find leadership willing to tame profit seekers and promote national excellence in all things military and civilian, we will decline and fall.
Foremost among our enemies are deficit hawks and idiots who do not understand the difference between real and temporary financial advantage.
Only demand and supply centered reforms of defective reward-ordering monetary systems can allow us to continue to focus on scientific performance as we did from 1940 until the radical decline of communist power at the end of the 20th Century.
Keynesian thought and American productive genius under the leadership of FDR proved democracy was worth its salt. Abraham Lincoln was our leader who best understood government's role in the American economy. He took charge of the money, the quest for higher education, and the fundamental required morality for democracy.
The nonsense that passes for public conversation at this critical point his world history at the commanding public intellectual heights is appalling.
Who is to blame is less important than what we do immediately to learn how to reverse our pursuit of cheap labor and popular irresponsibility for preservation of Lincoln's government of, by and for the people by force if necessary and seriousness for sure.

Hah! ..Barack Obama goes and tells the 20 yr. old kids in the college towns that "You boys and girls have to reject Mitt Romney and his brazen attempt to buy your honest votes with all that corporate money he earned from the working people of America!"
An hour later, Barack is asking the Fed if they will let him charge another $500 Billion dollars (!!!) using the taxpayers' credit card -- so that he can have those billions of dollars to hand out to voters during the last 2 weeks before the upcoming election!
Hah!!
Do you remember when President Obama denounced the Supreme Court's "Citizens United" ruling? ..angrily claiming that "Now, we might find corporations trying to use a million dollars of their money to influence our elections!"
Barack Obama now wants to use $500 BILLION of yours!!!

On September 24, 2008 John McCain suspended his campaign because of the financial crisis.
That was a pretty big deal.
So are we better off than four years ago?
Well none of the Republicans are suspending their campaigns because of any financial crisis.
So there is that.

Discordant economy in the year 2000?
Of course, Y2K! All the prison doors would open, every felon would run free and that was the good news.
The end of the world then, just like we hear that December will bring us the end of the world now.
Probably not the Mayan way as previously thought but something our Congress will do--WITH THEIR INSANE TREATMENT OF THE ECONOMY.

Yes, Reinhart-Rogoff:
default on public and private debt plus
debasement of currency and hyperinflation.
Sounds wonderful.

Romney will reform the tax code to allow taxable income for the middle class to be redefined...he wants to eliminate taxes on savings, capital gains, etc for working families...one Romney/Ryan tax offset will be to remove all or part of current deductions for interest payments on the family home (but remember capital gains will not be paid on the sale of the home under this schema)..
Romney will shrink the size of government and thus reduce the tax burden on working families...he will repeal most of the taxes on medical supplies, etc that are incorporated within ObamaCare...he will send block grants to the States on medicare/medicaid to ensure those programs survive without any additional need for working families tax hikes...
Romney will not introduce Cap and Trade - with all its cost of living impacts on working families... Romney/Ryan can balance the tax cuts with spending cuts in ways that do not raise working families tax bill by $2000 per year...it will be difficult but it can be done...
Obama has no plan that will improve k-12 education...will he take on the teachers union? can he take on the public sector unions to bring about the reforms needed to government spending to reduce the deficit?...
Obama seems to have no plan to reduce the deficit - save tax the rich which will lead to more symbolic class warfare than effective debt reduction...Obama will increase taxes through ObamaCare and increase waiting times for elective procedures...under ObamaCare expect the quality of healthcare to decline if there is any forced reductions to cost of healthcare provisioning from Washington..
QE3 will produce more of the same as QE 1/2...doing more of the same will get America more of the same - more debt, more fiscal drag, more structural rigidity in spending patters as between business and consumers... Bush was great at expanding the money supply and look where that got America...
Hillary Clinton seems to have run foreign policy for the past four years: just as Pelosi ran healthcare reform and Reid ran the fiscal cliff issues...Clinton is leaving... so it is an open question as to what Obama will do with Foreign Policy...
cheers, richard.

The majority of 'the debt' that republicans blame President Obama for is money made 'for defense', and the majority of 'defense' is waste and corruption that republicans live off of. They're NOT conservatives, they're socialists, bordering on being communists.
REMant 09/11/2012 11:39 AM Report
With the heat and drought, various socialisms, and continued attempts to put the country back on the installment plan it's looking more like the 1930s than ever.
The Labor Dept reported the number of Americans counted as not in the civilian labor force in August to be at a record high of 88,921,000. Mort Zuckerman and others contend "underutilized labor" has been about 15%, and including 8 million who have given up looking, puts the real unemployment rate is closer to 19%. Forty percent or 5.2 million of the official unemployed have been out of work for 27 weeks or more.
I don't think tho the stock mkt is rising on the expectation of Fed action (or at least I hope not because the stock mkt wouldn't thereby be looking for a better economy, but only a bigger share of it), rather because it always rises before it crashes due to an increased demand for money always preceding collapse (and despite the abundance of it). In a good economy, prices, including those of stocks, should fall or at least remain stable. Leonhardt to his credit recognized this in 2007, but hasn't since then. What the Fed does is keep the stock mkt up, not the economy going, and they unfortunately seem to think it's the same thing. The folks there either fail to see that saving IS required, or are loath to diminish their attempt at welfare and redistribution through inflation for fear of the consequences, like perhaps being strung upside-down from the Capitol dome. And I really don't think the president would be making his kind of economic argument if he had a Fed chairman opposed to it.
The Tax Policy Center calculated that the only way to make Romney's plan revenue neutral would be to eliminate tax preferences that also benefit the middle class, but his campaign has disputed its findings, and as Romney reiterated Sunday he's insisted he would not allow a tax increase on the middle class, so if their findings are correct, he will have to scale back to make the math work. But the Obama math is no better, relying on a tax increase on the rich and including $800 billion not spent in Iraq and Afghanistan. And it cuts less than Bowles-Simpson.
