More information: I worked here: http://www.llnl.gov/ here: http://lasers.llnl.gov/ (on the National Ignition Facility, a 192-beam laser) and most recently, here: http://www.jgi.doe.gov/ I am still employed by LLNS, LLC, but I'm on a leave of absence due to the effects of anxiety and paranoia.

Thank you for having this series on the brain, and specifically on schizophrenia broadcast. I had been working for 20 years with a diagnosis of schizophrenia, and on medication for all of that. Around 1996, I figured out how to stay on medication. More recently, I've been disabled. I think it's important to note that people with schizophrenia can contribute to society, it just takes a supportive atmosphere. I had been a computer programmer, but my social support dropped out my anxiety took over and ultimately forced me out of my job. I am currently on Ziprasidone, Olanzapine, Latuda, Trifluoperazine and Clonazepam. Like Danny Hurley, I also did quite well in college, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.86 GPA from University of California, Davis. I know others who have done well in school with the illness, but have had to drop out of advanced degrees or the workplace. I think you should do an interview with people who have been successful in the workplace as well as school. This would be a shining light to those with the illness instead of the typical media frenzy. We need more positive examples.

listen i tried and sort of fell apart and i got good at writing messages over the years from practice and experience (and waiting for the right motivational moments to be able to write things) you might think otherwise in your mind possibly but real life i would be a let down big time i know this for a fact i'm okay with that just giving heads up reality is better (and i'm sure exists for a reason it's cool and plus you need love in life to survive not trying to be corny i'm like scrambled brain and lost cause trying to survive get through this) things sort of went in the wrong direction in my life and with myself i just need to go to the hospital (literally) and physically rehabilitate escape from reality (as soon as possible) any way will work i'm a little not clear on how i'm going to accomplish this but have some ideas to try that i know at least will move in the right direction i'm not going to make it otherwise thanks :) (so just to be able to do these things would be a lot) i just need to try to get to being okay and worry about the rest later (i try to use positive thinking and motivation in that sense but i'm just at the point i have to get through this so any help would be greatly appreciated i swear thanks) this all is out of my control i'm trying i've given up on everything else i can't worry about writing well or anything or even psychological games but everything is cool everything has just gotten really extreme (i'd rather not write about it all publicly because i feel stupid doing so i'd rather just move forward to accomplish (: i've lost all ability to think positive and be positive it's just (also this isn't a message to the public) i don't want to write this stuff (though ultimately i guess that's trivial too i'm just thinking you're not actually comprehending what's going on (and there's a lot more i could have been doing i've been failing for whatever reason but also it's not just that
