      I'm a bipolar male of 40 yrs old who has had 3 concussions, the most recent of which seems to have "turned on some lights" in my brain. I've been studying things I was never very interested in before, such as electromagnetism, light, and gravity and began creating art as well. My memory has been negatively affected, yet my ability to conceptualized has been enhanced.       I think we have a lot left to learn here. Does a concussion in some people begin a new period of "plasticity" that enables enhanced conceptualization? I think it's worth some study. Anyone else have any related stories?

      This knowledge of Consciousness and the conscious and unconscious mind is heavily used through subliminal messages in advertisements and in politics to sell products or to sway and control public opinion on certain issues.

      Here is an interesting documentary on this topic on youtube. It is somewhat on the conspiracy theory side, but it still contains much interesting information and that is why I am sharing here. Subliminal messaging can of course be used for good as well:
