It was truly enjoyable listening and watching this meeting between two friends. I cannot remember another time where I felt as though I was present in the same room. Contagious! And I was smiling and laughing along with you! Spike, I had the chance to meet your brother Cinque in Montreal at an indie film festival years ago; I do hope he is thriving too. Charlie, fond wishes. Great direction Spike to Mike Tyson:

“Anytime you can make fun of yourself the better.”

Your direction is better late than never in Mike Tyson’s life.

“In the end your responsible for yourself and that is the bottom line.”

Not very Biblical but certainly true.

"You have to be happy” is what Spike says he learned in life.

Charlie, if you visit the Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta you will see that happiness is what they are marketing.

As one of your major sponsors the Coke museum would be a worthwhile trip.

Funny thing, I can't find your show anywhere on the local Atlanta PBS channel.

Spike tells us kids are growing up ignorant and fat.

Perhaps the parents need more time to parent. Time to pound their kids with the arts just like his parents had time to pound him with the arts.

Only 168 hours in a week and if your share of the money and the time pie is small then your kids may grow up ignorant and fat.

Charlie says he will put you to bed and wake you up.

He only puts me to bed.

      $6,000 a week for towels?

Was that for Don King to wrap his hair?

Yes Spike, it is the people around you.

    8. SharkswithfrikingLazers  08/09/2012 01:01 AM Report

Yes Charlie, the amount of people who deceive themselves is huge.

      Really huge.

Charlie, someone should edit together a montage of everyone at the table who says it was their parents that played a key role.

“You have to bust your ass,” as Spike Lee told us, is only part of it.
