      Dear BENEZRAA,

I am very disappointed in your comment below labeling me, however eloquently you did it, a closet anti-semite. I have heard and encountered this subtle form of psycho war fare before you tried to apply to me to silence and cut short any form of intelligent and authentic conversation, discussion and constructive criticism about the state of Israel, its current government and policies and about the Israel/Zionist lobby within in the USA.

Just for your information, you do not have to be Jewish or be of Jewish blood to be a Zionist or to be invested in a Zionist State. Many Americans with no Jewish ties, often refereed to as Necons, I consider Zionists. Mitt Romney is a Zionist in my book. In fact you can even have Arab Zionists. Just ask the House of Saud and you will see some true closet Zionists. There are even anti-Semites around that are Zionists, because military Zionism fulfills their political or ideological agendas and fills their pockets.

Just for the record I am German and grew up with being called a Nazi from when I was 9 to 10 years of age on, when I visited foreign countries on vacation, when I did not even know what a National Socialist/Nazi was or even who Hitler really was.

So, just know that your attempt to intimidate me with a false accusation of anti-antisemitism is not going to shut me up, stop me or all of a sudden make me become politically correct and bow down to corrupt and destructive people or lobbies.

Your pseudo attempt of psycho analyzing my intentions, my words and ideas is not accurate in any shape or form and like I said above I am very disappointed by your comment below. I had expected more from you not such a cheap shot low blow attempt to discredit me.

      From Open Zion today:

      http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/07/31/abe-foxman-step-away-from-the-election.html

'' I wasn’t surprised that Abraham Foxman, head of the Anti-Defamation League, got involved in Romney’s overseas campaign. Romney, after all, is visiting Poland at the behest of anti-communist leader Lech Walesa, who won Poland’s presidency in 1990 in part by calling on Polish Jews to out themselves and asking why his opponents “conceal their origins.” And though he apologized for Polish anti-Semitism in 1991, first to prominent Jews and then to the Israeli Knesset, it was a pretty lousy apology: In his speech to World Jewish Congress leader Edgar Bronfman, Walesa insisted “there never was any genuine racially based anti-Semitism in Poland” just “discrimination and differences of interests between… Poles and Jews.” Little surprise that, in a presidential 2000 election, Walesa returned to Jew-baiting his opponent, and to saying he wished he had been born Jewish, since “I would probably be richer.” Lots for Foxman to talk about.

Wait, what? That’s not what Foxman thought was worthy of comment in Romney’s tour? Crazy. Apparently, though Foxman doesn’t think the Romney-Walesa love-in deserved a press release, he had to weigh in on Romney’s blaming Palestinian economic woes on their “culture.” Which he blessed. While Jews have “a real emphasis on education, on hard work and self-reliance,” he said, “part of the problem” with the Arab world, he said, “is culture.”

Bernard Avishai and Hussein Ibish have already pointed out why Romney’s remark is nonsense. Suffice it to say that attributing Palestinian poverty to culture—ignoring, say, the occupation’s basic inequities in resources like water or its harsh restrictions of freedom of movement—takes some chutzpah. Imagine what the ADL would say if someone blamed Jewish suffering on Jewish culture. But here’s what I want to know. Under what definition of “anti-defamation” work is defending Romney’s, well, defamation a good fit, but condemning Romney’s meeting with Walesa not worth the time?

The truth is that the ADL has two jobs: fighting bigotry, and defending Israel. There’s plenty of overlap, but sometimes the two missions conflict. Most famously, in 2007, ADL opposed congressional resolution recognizing, “The Armenian Genocide was conceived and carried out by the Ottoman Empire from 1915 to 1923,” because it might threaten relations between Israel and Turkey. Foxman finally agreed to himself use the word “genocide,” but wouldn’t support the resolution. For an Israeli ambassador or even a single-mindedly pro-Israel group like AIPAC, it would be sensible (if sad) Realpolitik, but this made no sense for an organization that claims to fight “all forms of bigotry.”

And you cannot have both. In the long-term, the ADL and Foxman have to choose between anti-hate work and Israel politics. When Muslims picked for your anti-Islamaphobia task force have to write defensive op-eds about joining you and Fareed Zakaria returns your award because you opposed a Muslim community center) near the site of the World Trade Center, you should start asking whether you’re losing your mandate as an anti-bigotry group. When you’re downplaying the Armenian genocide for diplomatic reasons, you should do some soul-searching. And when your words show up in the hard-right Emergency Committee on Israel’s attacks on Obama, well, maybe it’s better you stay out of politics completely.''

Matisyahu feat. Akon - One Day

      youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8zK7PHIkgA

      Lyrics:

One Day ( Feat Akon )

      Akon... Matisyahu

      See everybody that´s existing

Got a mind of their own

      we´re all Kings and Queens

with a throne of our own

      Tryin to raise a family

      is an empty home

We got to learn to stick together

      Hate to be here alone

Cause the world is a place

That will eat you alive in one day

Said the world is a place

That you can´t survive without faith

sometimes in my tears I drown

but I never let it get me down

      so when negativity surrounds

I know some day it´ll all turn around

      because

      CHORUS

all my life I´ve been waiting for

      I´ve been praying for

      for the people to say

that we don´t wanna fight no more

      they´ll be no more wars

      and our children will play

      one day (one day) x6

      it´s not about

      win or lose

      we all lose

when they feed on the souls of the innocent

      blood drenched pavement

keep on moving though the waters stay raging

in this maze you can lose your way (your way)

      it might drive you crazy

but don´t let it faze you no way (no way)

      Gotta hold on

      Livin life day by day

      Gotta hold on

Put your focus on that one day

      CHORUS

one day this all will change

      treat people the same

      stop with the violence

      down with the hate

one day we´ll all be free

      and proud to be

      under the same sun

      singing songs of freedom like

      Gotta hold on

      Livin life day by day

      Gotta hold on

Put your focus on that one day

      RE: AIPAC - MIC "ALLIANCE"

Max83, there may at times be an intersection of the means and even at times the goals of the MIIC and AIPAC. It is more than a stretch, however, to say that they are jointly invested in making these wars happen. It is also a singular blind view on your part to conflate MIIC and AIPAC as if they were one wedded entity (even with the differing motivations that you ascribe to each of them) and to ignore the many relations of the MIIC throughout the world that may often in fact be at odds with AIPAC.

As well, I am troubled at your choice of the word "profit" as descriptive of joint motive of MIIC and AIPAC to the detriment of the majority population. This is a disgusting hypothesis. In fact I see it as a thinly veiled way of expressing anti-semitism. Methinks you presume politeness and that you even make attempts at subtlety. Nonetheless there is a redundant theme you express, and that theme is that it is the Jewish Lobby that holds sway over the MIIC to the detriment of the USA and the World.

In my opinion Max83 you presume to an idealism and concern that is purely rhetorical, is deceptive in nature, and which represents the same old bigoted propaganda wrapped in an ever so slightly new package. Bon voyage, Max83.

    5. Max83  07/17/2012 04:55 PM Report

Thank you very much for your helpful feedback BENEZRAA. I very much appreciate it and I was able to learn many new things from it.

I am aware that some of my writings and claims are idealistic and even naive and some of it in regards to the MI6 and false flag terrorist attacks might be exaggerated. I did this on purpose to wake up people up to both, the positive and very negative possibilities that are present at this time in our world and to make people aware of the shadow sides and shadow tactics of politics and the intelligence community which greatly influences policy through their assessments, reports and perspective on events i.e. WMDs and the Iraq Invasion back in 2003.

Like you said I am in no way defending Iran or any other militant Islamic countries, groups or movements, because they are dangerous and very populist, however I feel we really need an open and honest dialogue in this country about the influence the Israel and the military and intelligence industrial complex lobby i.e. AIPAC and others have in regards to American foreign policy and we need to acknowledge that their interests and policies only profit a very small percentage and group of the American people and mostly otherwise devastate and traumatize large numbers of the populace, both financially and psychologically.

How I see things is that AIPAC and the military intelligence industrial complex have different goals, but they both agree upon that these goals can be best achieved through another war in the Middle East. The military and intelligence services lobbies fear for their jobs and budgets and the Israel Zionist lobbies fear for their country and religion/ideology/identity to be wiped out and so they are both heavily invested in making these wars happen in my opinion and they use all kinds of methods to achieve this, false flag terror attacks being the most extreme and rare form of that, but I would not discard it and would not put it past some these guys. There are some really whacky and paranoid people in the military and intelligence services that live, love and breath wars, conflict, tension and Death and that have not much interest in preventing wars. On the other hand there are many very noble and very capable people in these institutions like Admiral William J. Fallon for example. It is a really mixed bag. It is my intention to support this sane and benevolent element within the intelligence and military community and weaken and expel the violent, deceptive and rogue element because all they do is cause harm to people and the country as a whole.

I think what we need to understand is that all this manipulation of public opinion through the media, through biased news stations like FOX News is only possible because like Zbigniew Brzezinski said in his CFR interview, the foreign policy knowledge and education levels of the average American citizen is very much lacking. The solution really is to educate the general public on these topics and then I feel that Americans will become interested in foreign policy and as a result the USA will become a role model again in the world of a super power that stands for justice and peace, both domestically as well as internationally and that only uses her military might as a last resort.

What is very concerning is that in the last few days many normally neutral news sources have switched around their news coverage towards Iran from only a couple of months ago and are displaying Iran as a major potential threat not just to Israel, but also to the USA. I am talking specifically about Wolf Blitzer on CNN here, whose loyalties have to be questioned and who himself has to question his loyalties, especially because of his past involvement with AIPAC. Wolf Blitzer and Mrs. Harman have to really ask themselves as I said before if they are foremost Americans or Zionists. If they are Zionists first they will go along with the Benjamin Netanyahu and MI6 rhetoric towards Iran as a major threat, or if they are first truly American citizens and even global citizens that are interested in long term global peace and prosperity they will side more with Zbigniew Brzezinski view of things in my opinion because that view is a lot more balanced and just plainly makes a lot more sense. Common, historic and cultural sense .

Here is a very good example of what I was talking about in regards to Wolf Blitzer and his CNN coverage towards Iran. From The Young Turks from yesterday:

CNN's Flawed Coverage of Iran Threat

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qI6nLD-MkE8&list=UU1yBKRuGpC1tSM73A0ZjYjQ&index=7&feature=plcp

"So back in November, when the Pentagon wanted to spew derision at the boasting of Iranian leaders, CNN.com dutifully quoted experts ridiculing the notion that Iran could get near the U.S. with its Navy. Now that the Pentagon wants to warn of the Grave Iranian threat, CNN hypes the very threats it was mocking just last year. Where the Pentagon goes, CNN follows, like an impossibly loyal dog."

If you do not have the time to see the full hour interview of Zbigniew Brzezinski at the CFR BENEZRAA, there is another great 15 minute clip of him on Morning Joe talking about all these topics from September 2011, here the link:

Ambushing MSNBC, Zbigniew Brzezinski: US Veto of Palestinian State Historic Failure 2011-09-19

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBCr991Xij8

''This is the most important political policy statement made by any American in years.

Brzezinski, a director of the Council on Foreign Relations, is by far, the "brightest bulb" America has.

This is the only statement of its kind that lays out issues of American and EU security, that speaks honestly about Israel and Palestine and addresses the Pakistani situation.

He goes two steps further, taking America's political "loonies" as he calls them "to the woodshed" and, avoiding the term "class war," speaks of the real violence of poverty, of the real extremism from above, the top 1% looting the world and what it will cost us all.''

Thank you very much again for your very helpful feedback BENEZRAA, I am very happy and grateful we are having this conversation, because I feel this kind of dialogue is what America needs to really awaken and really live up its full potential, even if we are not agreeing on all the details of how this can be achieved most practically and realistically.

RE: MILITARY INTELLIGENCE AND CIA MILITARY OPERATIONS

This ought to be the topic of serious conversation. What may be innovative now does have major risk built in, given the "volunteer" [mercenary] natures of these beasts in the absence of a larger citizens' militia and in the absence of universal service or military draft.

      "PALESTINIAN SOCIETY IS NUANCED" (MAX83)

Max83, you wrote many things below, and the references are all worth paying attention to, even where there may perhaps be questions or disagreements. For example I would question your thesis that the Brits via MI6 are engaged in setting up the US and Israel to go to war with Iran. With all due respect, I think that Iran needs no help from the Brits in that regard, as Iran is run by a megalomaniacal regime that is doing everything it can to provoke us. When I have an hour, I will listen to the Brzezinski conversation on YouTube, though I have yet to hear any fundamental game changing wisdom from him with respect to peace in the Middle East. Your appreciation of the work of John Loftus is a welcome addition to the conversation in these Viewer Comments.

As for the "nuances" of "Palestinian Society", I urge you to research the topic deeper than you have, as there is much more to "Palestinian Society" than Hamas and Fatah (PLO). The "nuances" start with the absolute rejection of Jews as having fundamental Palestinian identity -- a curious thing, as the first usage of the designation "Palestine" for the Land of Israel was an original imposition upon Israel by Ancient Rome.

"Palestine" -- the name of Roman territorial occupation and subjugation of the Land of Israel -- is the name revitalized in modern times by British Occupation in the the early 20th-Century.

It is not difficult to understand that Jews prefer to refer to their historical homeland by it's proper name "Israel" and to themselves as "Israelis". But, it is also correct for Jews to refer to themselves as "Palestinians", who in varying numbers have lived in Israel continuously since the days of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Arab usurpation of the designations "Palestine" and "Palestinian" and Arab exclusion of Jews from Palestinian identity have both created a false impression of regional identity rights.

And Israel and the larger world have fallen into semantical laziness -- sharing in this exclusionary usage of the designation "Palestine" -- to the great detriment the common bonds (good and bad) that Jews and Arabs share going back to pre-Mohamedan times.

In historical terms it is essential to appreciate that Israel is the core of Palestinian Society. As to the non-Jewish Palestinians -- most of whom are Arabs with origins in the nations surrounding Israel, or who are of Turkish, Syrian, Egyptian, and other national origins, or who are mixtures of all of these including historically assimilated Jews -- they are hardly a uniform Society, nor are they so well represented politically by Hamas or Fatah. For that matter Israelis today would not claim that they themselves are of a uniform society (and twenty percent of Israeli citizens are not even Jewish and are mostly Muslim Arabs).

As for the political idealism you have expressed -- that Israel should totally separate itself from the USA and embrace it's Arab neighbors: this is a wonderful dream, the unfortunate present reality of which would be like inviting a suicide bomber into one's arms.... For the time being a good fence means life and not death for both.

    8. Max83  07/12/2012 10:33 PM Report

Today MI6 chief Sir John Sawers made the following very rare public announcement in the Telegraph:

'We foiled Iranian nuclear weapons bid'

You can find the complete article here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/terrorism-in-the-uk/9396360/MI6-chief-Sir-John-Sawers-We-foile d-Iranian-nuclear-weapons-bid.html

Like I said it is very rare for the chief of MI6 to make any public announcements and that really concerns me.

I trust the CIA, Mossad and BND more than I trust the MI6 and this should say a lot about the MI6.

I am concerned that when the MI6 is so interested in the USA attacking Iran that they are very desperate and will do anything to achieve this goal which could result in false flag terrorist attacks on US installations world wide, false flag terror attacks on US soil and on US citizens (this could potentially be American Olympic athletes or American spectators at the London Olympics) and/or even false flag terrorist assassinations of US public officials conducted by the MI6 through rouge elements in the CIA or Mossad that will then be blamed on Iran to sway US public opinion towards a military attack on Iran.

This needs to be avoided at any price in my opinion and I would like to urge all US Homeland Security agencies and US Intelligence agencies to seriously consider these possibilities. This is speculation on my part. But when Intelligence agencies like MI6 start involving themselves in public announcements like this, this needs to be taken very seriously and their intentions have to be questioned and scrutinized.

The public outcry over this MI6 announcement is very great in England and the public accuses MI6 to want to distract from the recent LIBOR banking scandal in the City of London and I think there could be some truth to that, however the risk of rouge elements within the intelligence agency apparatus plotting false flag terrorist attacks to advance their Geo-political agendas is even higher in my personal opinion.

Thank you for considering these possibilities. I am usually an optimist and like to inspire people. My intuition told me to share these thoughts here in this case, so these scenarios won't play out in reality and won't weaken the USA even more and won't further destroy its public image and standing around the world if it were manipulated into another foreign war that is not necessary.

I consider Mr. Brzezinski a member of the truly illuminated Elite that originates from Central Continental Europe and that I have talked abut here in the comment section before.

My biggest concern for the future is not Iran, nuclear weapons, terrorism, economic or other crises, but the ignorance and lack of education and wisdom of people. I am concerned that balanced, experienced and wise voices like Mr. Brzezinski's are literally about to die out and that there is nobody to fill their shoes.

It is my goal to keep educating myself academically, culturally and spiritually as much as my abilities allow me to and through that hopefully be one of the guiding and balancing voices of my generation.

Thank you Mr. Brzezinski for sharing your wisdom with us and it is my hope and wish that you will be able to stay on this planet Earth for many more years, because it desperately needs your wisdom and bird's view bigger picture perspective.

I just found this great video interview from yesterday:

America's Nazi Secret with Author John Loftus

      www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-fM7i2GW0k

He speaks about all the topics that Mrs. Harman and Charlie Rose talk about in this interview including Egypt etc.

Well worth investing 60 minutes of your time into.

Fully revised and expanded, America's Nazi Secret by John Loftus reveals how the U.S. government permitted the illegal entry of Nazis into North America in the years following World War II. This extraordinary investigation exposes the secret section of the State Department that began, starting in 1948 and unbeknownst to Congress and the public until recently, to hire members of the puppet wartime government of Byelorussia—a region of the Soviet Union occupied by Nazi Germany. The author, a former Justice Department investigator, uncovered this stunning story in the files of several government agencies. The revised and expanded version includes a chapter previously banned from release by authorities and a foreword and afterword with recently declassified materials.

America's Nazi Secret is an insider's history of how the United States Department of Justice obstructed Congress by:

Blocking congressional investigations into famous American families who funded Hitler, Stalin and Arab terrorists.

Lying to Congress, the GAO, and the CIA about the postwar immigration of Eastern European Nazi war criminals to the US.

Concealing from the 9/11 investigators the role of the Arab Nazi war criminals in recruiting modern Middle Eastern terrorist groups.

Author John Loftus is a former U.S. government prosecutor, a former Army intelligence officer, and the author of numerous books. He has appeared regularly as a media commentator on ABC National Radio and Fox News. He lives in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Co-incidentally this article was featured in Der Spiegel today:

Seeking an Alternative to Two States: European Right Wing Stirs Up Middle East Peace Process

      http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/european-right-wing-seeking-alternative-to-two-state-soluti on-a-842984.html

I had never looked at this this way, but maybe it is worth a try and can be used to promote a more peaceful co-existence. The problem really like I stated is religion and ideology, but maybe there is a way to positively manipulate and exploit religious ideology and ignorance to achieve peace.

I have no opinion and knowledge on the feasibility of these proposals, I just wanted to share this article here.

Like attracts like that is for sure and maybe these right wingers can come up with a deal. That would be too ironic, when all of western diplomacy fails and these guys meeting in a tent come to an agreement hahahaha

I am very much agree with one statement from the article: "Palestinian society is nuanced. There is Hamas and there is the Palestine Liberation Organization. But you also have ordinary people who think and act differently than they do," Provera told SPIEGEL ONLINE in an interview. "The settlers, too, are not beloved by everyone in Israel, they are considered to be extremists. But they have to be understood. How do people expect to build a peace agreement without listening to the various groups of Israelis and Palestinians?"

One thing I am certain about though is that the more the American Jewish community can stay out of the business of the State of Israel and stop to manipulate American policy for their Zionist agendas the better. They can still send tons of money to Israel if they want to, but it should not be official foreign aid American tax payer money.

It is a test, but if Israel can survive without the official help of the USA it will survive for eternity and I think that is what all Jews and Zionists want.

    14. Max83  07/06/2012 08:47 PM Report

Wow, this is the biggest Freudian Slip I have personally witnessed on Charlie Rose, ''to make Israel succeed, to make Egypt succeed'' hahahaha. Mrs. Harman is a very powerful woman and very well connected. I would not want to mess with her hahahahaha, however I feel Mrs. Harman has to ask herself if she is a Zionist first or an American first? If the American Intelligence establishment is mostly run by Zionist interests instead of American interests I see that as a big problem, which will actually undermine or already is undermining both Zionist/Israeli and American interests.

I feel the biggest problem Israel is facing is that they are seen as a bully nation in the Middle East and that they are seen as cowards because they only talk big because backed up by the USA. The most beneficial thing for a Zionist State to do in my opinion is to De-couple as much as possible from the USA and to voluntarily refuse any foreign aide from the USA because this will give them credibility in their neighborhood of the world.

I see this American Zionist conflict of interest as the biggest challenge both the USA and Israel are facing, especially militarily and in terms of homeland security for both nations. Both countries suffer from it, but are forced by powerful lobbying and religious/ideological interests into this relationship. The solution is that one has to put ideology aside and let their humanity speak. What would you do if you were a human without an ideology or a religion, not what would you do if you were a Christian, a Jew, an American, an Israeli or a Zionist. The more humane the State of Israel can behave the more successful it will be, especially with the new younger generation of Arabs. Because our humanity all connects us and if practiced authentically and without ulterior motives transcends any religion or ideology be that Judaism, Christianity or Islam.

Mrs. Harman has the power and influence to make this happen and be a role model in the Jewish American community and cause a big shift in perception of how Israel can best succeed. Diplomacy is definitely better than military force, but humanity/charity/philanthropy and benevolence even trumps diplomacy and politics and the people in power right now have to realize that if they want to succeed and secure their interests in the long term. If Israel can become and be perceived as a humanitarian and charitable State by its neighbors foremost instead of a military State in the Middle East it will succeed and become a true homeland for the Jews and not just a military fortress for radicals and religious fundamentalists. It won't be easy to do this and will take a long time, but this is the only sustainable way to do this.

As I said before I wish the State of Israel all the success possible, but they need to be the first to open their arms and send true and authentic signals to their neighbors that they want to live in peace and fairness. You have to be and become the positive change you want to see in the world like Ghandi said.

While I appreciated her statements re the Arab "spring" and counterinsurgency, I thought little of the doctrinaire view that deficiencies of education and employment education are the problem. Religion and social issues matter. And, of course, so does the effect of money. I occasioned to peruse a recent Oxfam report funded by the Rockefeller Foundation on how to improve Africa by the judicious use of "systems thinking," replete with wiring diagrams, which, however, never mentioned that, nor that the continent was in many ways better off before Europeans decided it needed to be.
