Yes Charlie, a dark room with a round table.
Questioned by an attorney.
That is where journalism really is.

'You can actually survive as a print model but you have to be innovative.'
I hope this innovation is not by unusual accounting methods especially when counting subscribers.
I still pay for a newspaper so for me it doesn't have to be free and the ads can offer great values to make up for the subscriber cost.

“You find less brilliant people enter politics.”
Yes and if you look at many of the commencement addresses happening now the Speakers are asking the bright graduates to think about politics.

Great interview!
By following my intuition and to piss off Daniel Kahnemman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Kahneman , who I in my intuitive opinion hahahaha is the most ignorant and arrogant guest that has ever been on the Charlie Rose show, I would like to recommend the following video documentary by the investigative journal Vice magazine about the Russian mystic Vissarion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vissarion titled ''Cult Leader Thinks He's Jesus''.
Here the youtube video link:

I am glad to see the new generation of leaders like Evgeny Lebedev and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari get a voice on Charlie Rose. Thank you for that Charlie.
By the way, there is another very good documentary by Vice magazine about Pakistan that I highly recommend titled ''Fashion Week Internationale | Islamabad Fashion Week | Full''.
Here the youtube video link to that documentary:

No one in the US thinks the media influences political decisions directly, if it undoubtedly influences politics, so it seems curious the British seem to have always had their Beaverbrooks, Murdochs and so forth. Perhaps that's because any scandal can immediately bring down the govt in a parliamentary system. Here it usually takes a few years.
