Great interview. It is disappointing to hear people think of the political spectrum limited to left right. It is far more complex than that and for News Media to be non-biased it should host more points of view than just left-right or Democrats versus Republicans. Maybe that is why there is so much frustration and apathy with politics in the US and so many other countries.

4 years later, and 'The New Yorker' is now 'Time Magazine'; and David Remnick is now Jeff Bewkes.

      "Oh! ..Progress!!"

Barack Obama is still "Bad choice Obama".

      No progress.

Great questions. I can see why the media industry is getting great interests from the political scene.

Penthesilea's death, the worry among Gods in Trojan War, and unfinished design in growing wills. After Penthesilea accidentally killed her sister, Gods, especially Hera I guess, began worrying about this queen of Amazons. Penthesilea's father Ares told her Hector had been killed by Achilles and gave her a mission to kill Achilles. She was exciting and joyful when burying Hector, full of confidence to kill Achilles, and premeditated tons of ambitious plans when again and again rethinking the Ares' suggestion, which it is Goddess Hera who agreed on this revenge mission, beyond words. Hera called Thetis to resurrect Achilles. The problem happened in Penthesilea is as same as Alice in Resident Evil has and Gene Green in X man 3 has. Achilles fell in love with Penthesilea's beauty when digesting her experiences of battles in her long-term memory. But both Achilles and Penthesilea are inglorious. Unsurprisingly for Trojan War in this time, Penthesilea will return like 'the girl with Dragon tattoo', or the girl who has good technique to precisely hit her target.

How to solve the problem in unfinished design of growing wills in next generation? The wills of male grow from female when population is reaching the edge or the strong emotion is suddenly triggered in female individual by genetic changing from female to male. I don't know whether it works to artificial Amazons in Taiwan island.

It is the projection from the shadow side of Prometheus to desire Hephaestus. Selfish and dangerous. Ares has to be an independent God.Otherwise, no Ares.

    8. finalfantasytown  05/12/2012 10:23 PM Report

New animal in forest is not the current focus, I believe, which means Hephaestus is not safe position. It is too dangerous that Hephaestus continues without Trojan War. Furthermore, based on my experience, the decision has been made to not pursue the application further.

'Subscription with ad support is the best business in the world.'

Yes we would all love several streams of income.

    10. SharkswithfrikingLazers  05/12/2012 04:05 AM Report

Yes Charlie, Trees and Trucks—move away from them.

However, every checkout stand has the magazine staring at you. (Well staring and then shooting the cleavage too.)

Still, let's move away from mass to electrons in magazines and in fuel.

    11. SharkswithfrikingLazers  05/12/2012 04:01 AM Report

Charlie you say CNN does not know who they are.

Yes, and the Daily Show says the same over and over again.

    12. SharkswithfrikingLazers  05/12/2012 03:58 AM Report

"Smart Television" is what Charlie calls this show.

I agree, but like for Teachers, we will require a testing metric to judge your effectiveness.

    13. SharkswithfrikingLazers  05/12/2012 03:54 AM Report

To be a consistent teller of compelling stories is his goal.

Yes, there must be a formula for that because I see so much the same.

    14. SharkswithfrikingLazers  05/12/2012 03:50 AM Report

Yes Charlie, when might they release a movie on all platforms at the same time.

Did we hear that protectionism must be employed to protect the movie theater owners?

      Free trade or Fair trade?

    15. SharkswithfrikingLazers  05/12/2012 03:47 AM Report

Charlie, whose cellphone was vibrating over and over again?

If it so important that it can't be turned off then go ahead and take the call. We will wait.

    16. REMant  05/11/2012 12:16 PM Report

If he means by fresh the last several Time magazine covers, I think he should think again, or use a different word. It would be refreshing to find a CEO who didn't think his job was to increase his stock price and monopolize the public. Magazines seem long since to have stopped providing information or news. It would be hard to say whose fault that is. Advertising certainly has had something to do with it, but ppl, I hope, can stop subscribing to HBO, too. CNN was the first and is best known, but does very little news nowadays, too, and what it does do is usually quite tendentious. Apple is also coming increasingly under regulatory scrutiny, and, it appears, rightly so. And, you can't read your tablet in the doctor's or dentist's office unless you have one and bring it with you.
