...and don't even bother with the "the field is way deeper" nonsense. It doesn't matter how many Chris Strouds and Johnson Wagners there are just inside the exempt category, getting rich off golf while hardly ever (or never) sniffing a win. What matters is how good your primary competition is, the guys who have the potential to be #1 players themselves.

Hey, here's something to "put into perspective," re the "win rate" (a ridiculous statistical category that was invented for the sole reason of posing Woods as the greatest ever, well before he earns that title): Nicklaus had, as his top-level competition, Palmer, the late-career Snead, Player, Casper (yeah, I know some of you guys barely know him or don't know him...look it up), Trevino, Watson, et al. Woods has...well, you know. Anytime you want to take Woods' four best competitors and I'll take Nicklaus' four best in their primes, bring your money.

How ironic; Only a guy named, 'Hanky Panky' could write a book on such an interesting and fascinating topic topic.

      Movie!? ... Movie! Please!

Me want watch Movie! wear my polyester checkerboard pants, get ready for Tee time .

JACK NIckalus! wear are you! man!!!

Charlie, do you really want to know if Tiger is back?

Tiger is like Samson. However, his power is not his long hair rather it is in his p-nis.

Ask the women if you really want to know if Tiger is back.

Charlie you hit on this twice, 'an inner circle guy does not write a book.'

Yeah they do unless someone has purchased their silence.

Just ask BP and many of our other corporate "citizens".

      Silence costs money.

He says, great achievers want to make everything their own idea.

      NOPE!

They are NOT great unless they have humility.

He says Tiger was hard to coach.

From this interview I would say he was not a coach. Rather he was a-guide-by-his-side. The Popsicle story illustrates this perfectly. Tiger did NOT defer to him as a coach but treated him as a guide who could get his own d-mn Popsicle.

By the way Charlie, you hit it way out of bounds when you said you sided with Tiger. You did not keep your head down and follow through with your swing. You are going to have to take a two stroke penalty my friend.

Offering to get your guest a Popsicle is just common courtesy and for your "Coach" . . . well you should offer it without thinking about it if you have any class.

      Subject: Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods started hitting the ball at 3 years old. Tiger was hitting the ball all during Junior High and High School when he should have been dating girls. Then Tiger became the invincible champ where everything he touched turned to gold. Tiger then started to make up for lost time in dating girls. One day it all came crashing down as Tiger got caught. Now what has been lost is the mental attitude of invincibility, that is gone forever. Tiger will have to wrestle with himself until he reconciles himself to be an imperfect human being.. As Walter Matthau said in the movie "A Face In The Crowd," "Oh, Tiger will be back but it just won't be the same as it once was." for now Tiger is a flawed human being. Maybe fate after all has dealt Tiger a cruel hand of having had the potential of being the best that there ever was only to be brought back to earth by his own human fraility. Time will tell.
