This guy is funny, he seems to be knowledgeable of something he doesn't really know.

God only knows what kind of people will be walking around 50 years from now. The generations coming up will be So dependent on 'High' technology. .. Will the Boy Scouts be camping in CyberSpace?. ..I feel sorry for these kids, it really is sad

@ReMant: I found this guest interesting because I wrote about this subject on my latest article as follows:

      Brazzil Magazine - Monday, 01 August 2011

“The Time Is Now for Brazil to Build a Strong Military! - Written by Ricardo C. Amaral

      http://brazzil.com/component/content/article/235-august-2011/10505-the-time-is-now-for-brazil-to-buil d-a-strong-military-just-hire-laid-off-nasa-scientists.htm

“It's Imperative and a Matter of National Security For Brazil to Build a Strong Military ASAP”

On my article I did highlight the fighter jets, and the aerospace area, but at the end of the day a strong military means: all types of armaments to build a military force in Brazil that is relevant to the 21st century including a large force of hackers specialized in cyberwarfare.

This fellow undoubtedly is one of those who has persecuted Wikileaks and how you feel about that should indicate how you feel about him. Personally I do not think they are either criminals or suffer from some sort of autism, which idea I think has been vastly overused and misapplied. While it is certainly true that programmers have a unique skill set, which indeed seems to lack of a sense of practicality, I was thinking yesterday that most today forget the stress laid by republicans such as Adam Smith and John Locke of a reasoned sympathy in governing ethical relations. Sympathy was a slippery concept, meaning to many some sort of emotional empathy, but to them it was the development of the ability to put ourselves in others' shoes by the achievement of greater understanding or wider perspective, simply to become more objective. Overgeneralizing this we might consider the way Anglo-Americans often feel about Germans, ridiculed recently by Michael Lewis for being rule-bound, but failing to consider the rationale behind those rules, which is IMHO due to a very highly developed sense of equity or right. That said I believe you will find the average hacker also has a fairly large-sized ego and interest in virtuosity many Americans could use more of. Too, the Internet has provided a much greater means to combat tyranny than previous media, and governments, which think they can get away with things they used to, may well find it being used against them, but I doubt, even from other nations, they have anything to fear as long as they are honest, and there's nothing new or sinister about any of this.
