A China that turns into a democracy. That scenario would certainly changed the would forever.

One more cycle, Bernanke, one more big cycle, and then a large coke and some nachos for the entertainment.

      OIL! Please ask about oil.

Yes, everyone has a cellphone. One billion! Even peasants!

But for our "zero sum game" we need to talk about oil.

      Let's see here:

Second largest equity market overtaking Japan.

Of their new Middle Class, much of it comes from the equity market.

When bubbles pop people can invest again.

No problem here. China is built on a "firm" foundation. The one we had in the '20s.

      I like both their attitudes.

Tavis Smiley: Every time I come to China, I get off the plane, and this gets me in trouble back in the United States when I say this, but there was a recent poll, speaking of polls, there was a recent poll in our country, the Rasmussen report, that discovered that just over half of the American people think that our best days as a country are already behind us.

I feel the exact opposite when I come to China, that the Chinese people are excited, enthusiastic, they’re hopeful about their future. Yes, there are many issues, many issues.

      I know what Tavis means.

As the man said the increase in income has been in the form of paper profits. Nor has there so far been much increase in domestic consumption. It is a cause for concern.
