I can always count on your sermon, 'Preacher robd'.. Some how, you always say what i want you to say, which makes going to the, 'First Church of Atheist Fatalist Doom' well worth it.

It's easy to see where the hubris comes from when a man named Shalom tauts that Shalom is one of God's many names. Why not go all in and call yourself GodFreedman?

doodah - Muslims could care less if even spelling a deity's name backwards spelled d-o-o-d-a-h. Does Allah ring a bell?

    4. doodah  09/27/2011 07:42 AM Report

That's true Mr. Shalomski, even the lowly atheists will have to admit (in a moment of rare Objectivity) that the jews (as a whole) have contributed Much Much More to the general Betterment of the human condition than any arab or persian has. I mean for God sakes, any culture that Hates Dogs has got to have their heads so far their asses they wouldn't know the light of day if you shoved it up their ass with the tip of your shoe. And you know what Dog spelled backwards spells?. Yes, that's right it spells God, I bet the Muslims Hate That Fact.

    5. ShalomFreedman  09/27/2011 01:55 AM Report

The great majority of the people of Israel have now essentially agreed to leave a part, essentially the heart of Biblical Israel and allow to be established in it a Palestinian Arab state. Even Prime Minister Netanyahu who opposed such a move for historical and security reasons agrees to this now. But only if this is a demilitarized state.

Still this is not happening. Why? One clear reason is that the Palestinian Arabs are divided into two groups. The Hamas group in Gaza has a constitution which calls for the destruction of Israel, and what is little pointed out, also calls for the destruction of Jews anywhere. A genocidal anti- Semitic ideology rules that section of the Palestinians. The second group Fatah, the PLO has a different ideology one which calls for an agreement with Israel whose conditions would lead in a short time to Israel's destruction. This group also has propaganda and a map which deny the existence of Israel. They wish to make an agreement which would compel Israel to accept the descendants of those who left in 1948. This would mean demographic doom for Israel. In other words neither Palestinian faction is ready for real peace. And the allegedly moderate one Fatah is always prevented from even making its tactical offers by the more extremist Hamas. To this point historically for the Palestinian Arabs it is always the most extreme opinion and party which rules. Consider for instance the disastrous elections in Gaza which brought 'democracy' and 'Hamas' to recent power.

Israel needs and wants Peace also because this is a central value in the Jewish tradition. Peace or Shalom is one of the names of God in the Jewish tradition. On the other side there is an emphasis of conquest and ruling, and especially in lands where an Islamic power once ruled.

We are dealing with a confict in which one side truly wants and needs Peace, and the other wants Conquest and Victory. I will not discourse here on the means used, but only say that to this point the great contribution of the Palestinian Arabs to human civilization has been International Terror.

With all this I truly pray we and the Arab and Islamic world will come to mutual recognition , dignity and peace.

Considering the kinds of weapons of destruction there are today this is vital not only for all of us, but for all of Mankind who could become in a future conflict 'collateral damage'.

      DEAR "BLANK" -

Your 3:39am self-portrait arouses deep concern in me for your physical and mental health. Please go to the emergency room of the best hospital available to you in your geographic area, preferably a hospital that is known for evaluation of physical causes underlying emotional issues and underlying thought process deterioration. As an American, regardless of your economic circumstances, you are entitled by law to treatment on an emergency basis at any hospital. As part of the process of admission and evaluation in the Emergency Room, it would be to your benefit to ask the assistance of a psychiatric social nurse and or psychiatric social worker. It is important that these types of hospital workers can help you to achieve proper evaluation and to navigate the hospital system. (If I may offer you and example -- NOT a diagnosis -- an undiagnosed or untreated illness such as diabetes or heart trouble may be affecting you far more deeply than you may realize. You may possibly think that what you are experiencing is normal, at least for you, and that it will pass. Even if it does pass, it will return. You may or may not be in more danger than you presently realize. I hope that in writing as you just did, you have recognized that you may need some help. Let discretion be the better part of valor. Go to the ER. Best of luck. If you need someone to talk to you may contact me via e-mail at mdcrchcs@gmail.com and I will respond to you within 24 hours, sooner if you provide me with your telephone number. Be well!

"I saw it. You look very sad and really thin, nothing like you used to be, at least you were getting better or so it seemed while I was living there. Listen, don't dwell on it too much even though its hard or you, I noticed you tend to hold on to bad experiences long after the hurt has been made, re living events in your mind. Even something as eating the wrong food can linger in your mind for a while. Is it really benefiting you?"

hey could i just move into a small one bedroom apartment that i could move all my stuff into from storage then i could just drop all this and recover and try my best i'll do whatever or try to be an intern j-cole said drop the tabloids i don't want to have an internet presence or deal with any girls anymore i'm done with all girls i deteriorated and died i'm not the person i created in the past i just want to feel better i'm in a bad situation my ears are pretty jacked that's the only thing that worries me i made a video to try to enter a competition but i didn't turn it in

like my mind is scrambled and i'm pathetic i can't deal with all this stuff and i don't know what i'm capable of i have to recover it's like one thing one step at a time i gotta get through issues

like the funny thing is not being that person makes me feel better i'd rather somebody else be it i've been feeling better as everything and all hope crashes and falls apart i feel like it's freedom i don't like pressure and stress and all that kind of stuff i just want to feel okay like physically just feel okay that's all that matters to me

like if i could walk to the grocery store buy some food have a kitchen to cook it in dining table drive up into the mountains go mountain biking do exercises sleep in my bed have all my stuff in my place work on projects i really wouldn't be trippin i'd be set maybe travel some i'm not trippin this is what i'm trying to set up then i feel like i could recover get to the best i could get and just go into things without feeling impeded

the future is unpredictable i want to do real things live like a real life not spend my whole life trying to figure out what's going on in other people's minds the era of vague mental games is in the trash it's not good for my well being or anybody else's really this is the truth i think there's more serious issues i don't care what other people think about me as long as it's not really bad like i'm not getting stalked and murdered

and i don't expect that to happen it's just like i'm kinda lost in my head i wanna switch things up get more based in reality cuz i think it'll be a lot healthier and better

like check this this is how i started it it applies directly to ALL girls:

PERHAPS A THOUGHT EXPERIMENT IS IN ORDER.

Let us suppose hypothetically that a geographical place were found sufficient to relocate Israel at world expense. Presumably, the cost of doing so would be far less than the costs of incessant warfare between Israel and the more than 1.3-billion hostile Muslim neighbors of which the 300-plus-million Arabs directly surround Israel and of which perhaps four-million Arabs live within Israeli hegemony and of which more than a million Arabs are bona-fide citizens of Israel.

Would the Arab citizens of Israel choose to go or stay? Would the Druse, Hindus, Bahai, Buddhists, Christians, etc. choose to go or stay? Would religious Jews choose to go or stay?

Would "Palestine" then manifest as a democratic State? Would there be religious freedom for all? Or would it tear itself apart, victim of a history of covetous warfare between Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Saudia Arabia? In todays political climate would Turkey dominate, as Turkey dominated only 100 years ago, known then as the Ottoman Empire, famous for it's repressions of the Arabs?

Would the new, relocated, State of Israel have any peace? Or, once again, creating something out of nothing, would Israel be subjected and subjugated to a jealous and envious world seeking to tear Israel apart for it's prizes, and in so doing, would destroy the "Swan that lays the Golden Eggs"?

It is, incidentally, quite amusing, indeed, that when times are good and the world is prosperous, the world is running to "Jewish bankers" to borrow money and live it up beyond the ability to pay back the loans -- and knowing so, all the while! Yet, when times are bad, the money spent, and the blues are being sung and cried, all of a sudden it is all the fault of "Jewish bankers -- Shylocks all". Taking this "Shylock" metaphor even further, it is the good and proper Christian thing to do -- stealing from "Jews" -- as according to definition, it is the obligation of a true Jew, to die for the sins of Christian Humanity [and of course there was only one true Jew, who died on The Cross (somehow the tens-of-thousands of Jews and non-Jews, who were identically mass murdered by the Romans, did not measure to being identified as The One And Only Son Of God)]. Hence the appellation "Holocaust" for what the Nazis did to the Jews -- a proper Christian thing they did, those Nazi atheists....

If the world was rationale -- which it is not -- the world would see that only a thriving State of Israel can foster peace in the MIddle East and that such a peace could ripple out to the larger world.

    11. Scentsibull  09/24/2011 11:54 PM Report

The Israeli's have no reason to seriously negotiate. They take more land every day, and because the settlers and religious fanatics hold the balance of power in their legislature, the leaders have no interest in peace. The news media claims that 80% of the two peoples support a peace agreement but so what? Just as in every country around the world, including the U.S., money and business interests have corrupted the world's leaders. They will not act for the betterment of the majority, and in fact for the betterment of their country and the world.

So I would like Mr Rose to ask these Middle East leaders and commentators what reasons Israel has to negotiate.

And also to mention that the idea of recognizing Israel's right to exist is the only thing that the Palestinians have to negotiate with, and even that idea the Israeli's want the Palestinians to give up before the negotiations start.

And the Israeli's have the U.S. Congress in their pockets and influence so completely that a Congressman or Congresswoman cannot even mention that the U.S. should urge a peace agreement. They even use the Christian fundamentalists, who support them so that the end of the world can come quicker, and laugh at them for their naive views.

The only hope I have for an eventual peace is that there are some Jewish Americans who are pushing for a peace agreement because they are afraid that the there might be too many Palestinians in Israel, and it will lose it's Jewish majority/character. Israel might have to grant it's Arab communities full citizenship rights.

    14. JohnGelles  09/24/2011 01:44 AM Report

At present Israel is a nation and a member of the UN. Palestine is neither. Palestinians have opted live as a divided place and people -- some in Gaza under Hamas and some outside Gaza under the Palestinian Authority.

Israel is not to blame for that -- they would prefer that the Palestinian Authority ruled over both territories.

As to winning guest nation status in the UN General Assembly, it appears that this will happen soon. As to winning more than that in the Security Council, it appears that Palestinians will be denied that status as America vetoes any vote for it, or they fail to win a vote it in the first place.

Within a short time these votes and veto will be history and negotiations leading to peace between the two or three nations involved may commence. Of course, Hamas may refuse to recognize Israel -- in which case it will keep Gaza out of any peace that may ensue.

America should continue to support Israel. Israel should continue to be America's closest ally in these particular matters affecting global peace and security. Europe and Russia should support America and Israel. The Arab Spring should not turn sour.

Comments by others on this page that are consistent with mine I do respect. Comments that seek a different resolution I disagree with.

What of my opinion of people with whom I disagree? It is of no concern to them. It is of little concern to me. Disagreement in democracies is no sin. It is as common as dirt. It is not dirty itself -- it is clean and healthy and evidence that separate brains can harbor separate thoughts.

I sometimes wonder if separate eyes see different colors. But it is for certain that separate people believe in different facts. That is the way nature made us. Nothing will soon change that.

However, I would not be surprised if in a million years facts were facts and opinions were different from facts.

Ronnie baby epitomized a smarmy Jewish used car salesman. Smiling all the while his hands are in your pockets. A nation of Shylocks that led our country and the world into the 2008 fiscal crisis (Lloyd Blankfein et al), and 9/11/2001. Doubtless more to come after our UN veto. Israel is a blight on humanity and a looming linchpin for Armageddon.

    18. kugelmum  09/23/2011 03:34 PM Report

Mort Zuckerman was a disgrace in the interview to disrespect President Obama. He must have money invested in Israel and their settlements, but he is no American and doesn't represent any Americans view nor the majority of Israelis. Having been there doesn't qualify you protecting and distorting facts. You are an embarrassment to words of truth.

Mr.Proser, you are an awful actor. You have so much contempt for the Palestinians. You would never concede to anyone even suggesting that your facts are false. Even having Mr Zuckerman there as support, just showed you as an arrogant man tolerating an interview to make the Americans happy and to keep us supporting you. This will not last.

Why do I get the feeling Mr. Prosor is looking for job security for life?

What better way than endless negotiations?

Charlie, I have solved our jobs problem. Everyone receiving unemployment must now go work on negotiations between Israel and Palestine. (Tommy Boy Friedman can retract his book. America is great again.)

    21. MarieIsenburg  09/23/2011 12:17 PM Report

There are now 6.9 billion people on Earth. The sliver of land in question has seen waves of population changes and growth, a process that will continue as long as humans inhabit it. Will the response forever be murder? Our responsibility is to all the people of the region. All must expect to see their children and grandchildren live to healthy adulthood.

The self-destructive Palestinians and the ferocious Israelis pose nothing but danger to all of the misguided people who helped create this situation. I see the threat much more clearly than the solution.

      Sincerely,

      Marie Jacques Isenburg

    22. mutex  09/23/2011 12:04 PM Report

Is it really possible for any fair-minded, objective person to listen to the arguments of Mr. Prosor and Mr. Zuckerman and not see them for the desperate obfuscations they are? To compare granting Statehood to Palestine with declaring that the Earth is flat shows just how disingenuous their professed desire for a two State solution is. It is glaringly obvious for anyone who wishes to see that the goal of Israel is to maintain the status quo as long as possible...all the while building more settlements and squeezing the Palestinians into an ever-shrinking sliver of land. They talk of the Arabs wanting to push Israel into the sea while everyday the proceed with pushing the Palestinians into the desert.

In addition, Israel defends its desire for a 'Jewish State' by citing centuries of persecution. Given that this persecution has occurred seemingly everywhere there are Jews a logical person might begin to question what part the Jews play in their own persecution. How is it, in an increasingly interconnected and global world, with the US example of success achieved through a melting pot of ethnicity and culture, that the Jews in the 21st century are the only race and culture that is fighting to remain separate? Aren't they in fact fighting against the march of history? In South Africa this kind of thinking was rightfully denounced as apartheid. How and why is what Israel is trying to do different?

    23. REMant  09/23/2011 10:55 AM Report

In what way pray tell could Palestinian recognition possibly interfere with negotiations? Why would Carter support this initiative if it did? Prosor talks about unilateral actions, but what pray tell is building walls and settlements in occupied land, but unilateral? Who, in fact, invaded this territory not only in 1967, but beginning in WWI? Who forced the Palestinians into neighboring countries and is keeping them in concentration camps? Who has by these actions made peace impossible? And WHERE, incidentally, in the Old Testament, does it indicate that the Jews originated in Palestine? Does it not rather recognize the ppl the Jews invaded? Does it not justify all of this through arguing, long after the fact, when Israel was already in ruins, just as it is doing now, that the Lord gave the land to them? It is no more justified than that America should stretch from "sea-to-shining-sea." So let us have no more of that propaganda, thank-you very much.
