ha ha ha, No please go on, robd. ..Well, that's because I'm Multifaceted, that's all. And Multidimensional, did I mention that? .. my fans and followers )at Tweeker (and u my little friend)( bring it out of me ;)

    3. doodah  09/06/2011 07:07 PM Report

I didn't know you were such a talented song writer, robd. Better keep those lyrics heavily guarded, Willie Nelson might steal em for himself; you know how them pot smokers are. They can lie, steal and cheat like they invented it.

      Just so you know.

    4. robdverity  09/06/2011 04:26 PM Report

      Credible credulity consistently created.

    5. doodah  09/06/2011 05:44 AM Report

And, Gosh-Darn-It, People Like Me By Golly

    6. robdverity  09/05/2011 03:58 PM Report

      ABSOLUTELY!!

    7. doodah  09/04/2011 09:22 AM Report

      I am a Good judge of Character; aren't I.?.

    8. robdverity  09/03/2011 03:39 PM Report

OK, me. All me. Shame well earned.

    9. doodah  09/01/2011 09:02 PM Report

      We?!

    10. robdverity  09/01/2011 05:13 PM Report

dood - we've lowered the IQ of this forum enuff.

    11. doodah  09/01/2011 06:43 AM Report

Oh, so you just 'believe' what you want to 'believe'. I see how you think, robd. If a bear shits in the woods and robd never smelt it (or learned it in liberal farts class) it Never Happened. Never mind common sense, can't rely on that, might end up 'believing' in God (and that would be just so Terrible)(and Uncouth)(as they say academia snob circles).

That's ok robd, I'm sure your 'limited capacity' is due to some sort of childhood drama.

    12. robdverity  08/30/2011 04:48 PM Report

Blogged your (so-called) facts. They're murky at best.

    13. doodah  08/29/2011 09:11 PM Report

Well, the nazi's were atheists and enforced gun control of their citizenry; coincidence? Perhaps. Then again maybe Not.

    14. robdverity  08/29/2011 09:02 PM Report

Talk about oxymorons: define nazism liberalism. Huh?

Okay, I propose all liberals KILL all conservatives and all conservatives KILL all liberals. Now will the veterans leave my gonads alone?

    15. doodah  08/29/2011 08:13 PM Report

robd, I've known some WWII Veterans and you're not going to find one more liberal than Mr. Gelles. Your 'moral high ground', or more appropriately, in the spirit of true celebriticized liberalism, 'your ROYAL Moral high ground' most veterans would cut your nuts off with their bayonet and feed em to ya as soon as you started spouting your thinly veiled sympathetic nazism logic (Liberalism) .

    16. robdverity  08/29/2011 03:43 PM Report

Gelles, do you hear anything oxymoronic or jingoistic in your call for cutting evil ones down? By whose definition? Too many radicals, like yourself, that justify killing (for their own beliefs) will perpetuate the very thing you rail against, a la kill to stop killing(?). That kind of absurdity epitomizes why our species is toast long term. As you are not alone.

    17. JohnGelles  08/29/2011 06:04 AM Report

Salman Rushdie has carried the weight of being hunted by unreasoning evil enemies of every decent person living on God's green earth.

Charlie has been his friend. Christopher Hitchens too.

I count myself with them -- against those evil enemies -- and I am certainly pleased he and his children can be counted today among many of us who may not have a perpetual need to fear the power of a demented force similar to that behind the assassin of President Abraham Lincoln.

Would that we will not be reluctant to organize a defense against mobs and demented lone wolfs that can cut such evil ones down or tend to guarantee their immediate capture before they can possibly strike.

In war we are willing to kill by accident millions of innocent people. In peace we seem too lazy and hesitant to build filtering systems that watch out for the would be killers of celebrities in the service God Almighty. Why is this the case? Our neglect makes matters worse not better. The task is not impossible. It is merely very costly and demanding of great new inventions.

I would like to see the police function spend less on harmless law violation and more on the insidious practice of assassination by fanatics who are discoverable if this evil is given the attention I believe it deserves.

    18. robdverity  08/27/2011 04:31 PM Report

A wide range of topics from childhood to fatherhood to Islam to Satanic Verses to religion to nonreligion with cogent views on each. Worthy!
