"People of faith", women of faith--speaking in tongues is way out there so you are painting with a very, very broad brush in your choice of words.

Somehow I doubt these questions can be satisfactorily answered without getting into to actual philosophy of religion. But I think I can say those seeking answers are not interested in seeking liberation in the way Charlie seems to suppose. I don't know what actors find fun about acting, but if it doesn't involve finding truth, there's no point to it.

The tempo of this interview was very interesting and not at all the usual for this show.
She seems to have a thought and then do quite a bit of editing in her head before she speaks. While she is editing we see many facial expressions. It is like she is playing a mental tennis match that amuses her.
By the way, I wish she would have spoken to Jason Reitman (Up in the Air) like she did to Martin Scorsese (The Departed) about her character. I thought the Alex Goran character morphed too quickly on screen to the point of appearing to be mentally ill instead of the female version of a man.
