@SharkswithfrikingLazers I think Charlie was referring to Exxon Mobil's market capitalization: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_corporations_by_market_capitalization#2011

Fantastic interview… regarding math and science… kids began to understand science and the natural world much sooner than Phil describes at 3rd thru 5th grade levels. Science is a core in which all students should learn and math are “skills based learning” which are used to solve and explore what science challenges of with. Finally, pouring resources and tools for teachers in one thing however; until our American education system “makes science count” in other words makes science an accountable measure as in reading and math then the science quandary will continue for our students and teachers… Phil’s a really good guy; I’d like to see him win the US Open and the British Open before he retires.

He is not the only one riding the coattails of Tiger Woods.

All of golf is riding his coattails.

Missed something on his mental game. He said he does better when he goes out and performs 100 three foot putts to exercise his brain muscle before a match. On the other hand, he says if something does not challenge him he does not do as well with it.

So perhaps we can get the Brain Scientists to explain what is going on--neural pathways activated by pre-match warm-up plus pre-frontal cortex activated with a challenge so he needs several brain regions activated at once to win the big money?

By the way Charlie, it does get bigger than Exxon Mobil.

      Wal-Mart is bigger:

Great interview! Phil seems so focused on continuing to improve and it is great to see that he is embracing links golf. He is very well respected here in the United Kingdom.

For those not in the know, his wife's breast cancer put Phil's career on hold.

Glad to hear she is doing better.

Comes off equably enuff. Golf's too cerebral for a klink such as I. Having to remember to my move my head forward or backward on any desired shot outcome would doubtless make me forget something more basic - like keeping your eye on the ball. So I relinquished my CC membership to Mr. Boehner.
