What happened to, Rummy?! I was expecting to see 'Ole Rummy' on the show. I was wondering where he's been hiding; there's rumors he's been getting drunk with ole 'Lefty Driesell' on the eastern shore.

That Pakistan is essentially an old-fashioned aristocratic monarchy should not be surprising, nor certainly horrify anyone. There are still a number of them in the world, and a far greater number a century ago. There are obviously many more participatory polities in the world that are at least as bad. I would also like the point out that even in a so-called democracy such as ours the military is preponderate in many areas, and has its fair share of crazies. Pakistan has obviously always been Muslim and rightly suspicious of India after the ethnic cleansing that occurred after independence, which of course leads them to look to their own religious and ethnic groups for allies. And we do the same. We have also been known to put irksome journalists in jail. What I am trying to convey is that it is not helpful to be giving the impression that they are all a bunch of ignorant, uncivilized, misogynistic, subversive and deceitful Islamo-fascists.
