With what he has done I agree. With what remains NOT done, I do NOT agree at all.

Jon Huntsman may run in November 2011 -- promising an "industrial revolution" that will restore American leadership to a global free economy that continuously achieves prosperity -- as it ends poverty with the vital help of high technology.

Simultaneously, Gold Standard 2012, an activist effort to protect the stability of the dollar, will be trying to sell us a "financial revolution" that can end unemployment with low taxes, effective rules of the road, and money protected from high inflation.

The President can and must achieve these same goals -- or risk losing the office he seeks to serve for 8, not 4, years, only.

Everyone agrees the President could win that office if he had endless sound money to invest in fool proof programs and projects that made up these two revolutionary needs.

Well he has the money if it is fiat money adjusted for inflation when saved as cash.

Doubters will say that all that money cannot be adjusted as savings accounts. But they never tried it. And they never lived though a biotech, nano-tech, and info-tech revolution as powerful as those in progress as we write.

The ordinary people in Arab and Muslim nations, with oil that we buy and political goals that (in past years) often conflicted with our own, are experiencing an awakening to their power to bring democratic institutions to their aid -- in the age old struggle by all people for as much freedom and wealth as they may acquire by protesting against their conditions.

This is our business as much as theirs to the degree that our own freedom and wealth will be affected by the results of their protests. Why is this the case? Because, the examples of WW II and the Cold War cannot be forgotten.

The conditions that developed in Germany, Russia and Japan, spilled over to change our lives in profound ways: war and threat of nuclear holocaust forced us to become the nation we are. There was no escaping the disasters brought about by tyranny and aggression in other nations with the power to attack our nation and its interests around the world.

These obvious facts compelled the president to do what he has done. Now we need to let him know what we think of his decisions.

For myself, the matter is easy. I agree with all he has done. I particularly liked his speech today to AIPAC. He affirmed our commitment to peace and the security of our partners and allies.

Former National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski under President Carter who got us the Iran hostage mess. Who would even take this man seriously? Not to mention Israel is a sliver of land surrounded by thug countries who want it wiped off the face of the earth. Lets get real here...

Bibi (brain) threw Obama under the bus. The 67 border start-point is not a new idea. The most vacuous oxymoron presented was a demilitarized sovereign state for the Pals. The most murderous state should be the one without killing instruments - and it's not the Pals.

And despite this Bibi (brain) petulance we will still give the murderers their annual $2.0 billion MILITARY grant; despite our bankruptcy, which wont bother our "ally" one damn bit.

    5. robdverity  05/20/2011 06:45 PM Report

Bibi is exposing his Jewish bellicosity and the tribes rush to combativeness, so endearing around the world, quarreling with established 1967 borders starting point (with ignomious swaps).

With friends like Israel (our support of which caused 9/11), who the hell needs enemies. Go home Bibi, take all Zionists with you - of all religions.

    6. AntonGrambihler  05/20/2011 04:20 PM Report

Israel needs to move back to the boundaries assigned to it by the United Nations (UN) Resolution which authorized the division of the British Mandate of Palestine and made JERUSALEM INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY that belongs to ALL the people of the world. All Entities must abide by this resolution.

The WORLD MUST NEVER FORGET that over 35,000,000 Gentiles (Including Middle East Gentiles) died helping to bring World War II to an end, therefore; no Gentiles must be denied their right of return.

Or to put it another way, things can get a lot worse while the talking goes on.

    8. tabs  05/20/2011 02:15 PM Report

Mr Zbig made one very good point, that the Obama speech should haved defined US national interests intstead of trying to be an Internationalist. Trying to be an Internationalist is like trying to be everything to everyone which leaves one being amorphic or in other words without shape or definition. This in the end winds up pleasing no one.
