Lets leave reading from the political magazine journals. Turkey is in Cypriot since 1571. Turks and Greeks of Cyprus had lived in peace and harmony till Enosis EOKA violence emerged which aimed coercion, killing and intimidation of Turks to force them leave the island. It would be so good and exciting film like Saw If Turkey didn't intervene. This film sounds similar to that of what happened in Kosovo and Bosnia which are in the very middle of Great Western Civilisation.

Charlie, you need to quit lobbing these Turks a bunch of softballs and press on with some serious questions..Jounalists in jail, hundreds in political jail with NO charges, etc..This guy spends half of the time talking about a hundred year history and the typical Turkish response to questions, a ten minute BS lecture insted of answering the question...

poor Cypriots, specially the ones with Turkish dialect...
Turkey assimilating them by bringing 3 times of the amount of ex-cypriots..making them leave the island and giving more space to Turkey's policy in north Cyprus.
and in the other hand, helenic Cypriots are acting blind to the old partners like they were popped in the island yesterday...
its all happening under control of EU,NATO..UK,USA...all of them are fake

Come on Charlie take the white gloves off when interviewing these Turks. Why not press them on the Armenian genocide, Cyprus has been illegally invaded and occupied by turkey for over 36 years. while the turks are talking about respect of international law, why are they continuing to violate EU and Un law regarding Cyprus? The destruction of 200 year old christian churches in occupied Cyprus continues to this day and these turks want to talk about respect of other ethnicities. What about the Patriarch in Constantinople the leader of the christian Orthodox religion not being allowed use of his buildings and training of priests? If Turkey wants to become a respected member of europe they need to respect international law and respect the minorities in Turkey.
