      What I quoted by Mill earlier with respect to Libya, applies to Afghanistan (and Ivory Coast) especially. These are terribly divided countries. If we are going to "win" anything there, we are going to have to stay there long enough to colonize them. Otherwise, it will devolve into a civil war which the Taliban likely will win, being still the strongest party.
