In response to the president's remark that these uprisings are about basic human aspirations for a better life: 1. it doesn't necessarily translate into American friendship; 2. it doesn't take into account long simmering tribal and religious differences; 3. or that local conditions and government were the proximate cause of them; and 4. that Western central bankers are eventually going to take the rap for this, because I don't think it's going to be possible to keep up this bait and switch act. I can't imagine why Bloomberg would want to encourage a civil war there...
