      I expect the situation has been overreacted to, tho fed on by speculators, at least so far. On the other hand, it was brought about by speculation made possible by loose monetary policy, not by any tightening of credit. The central bankers in this country and Europe have to face the fact, and that we should have seen another trough anyway.
