      Why did Google not announce this arrest?? The only reason I can think of would be fear that such a disclosure would endanger Mr Ghonim's safety. What else "don't people know?"

      I did not know that Wael Ghonim, the Google executive, was released.

      Indeed Charlie, "How could this man have been held this long without anybody knowing his whereabouts?"

      Google means freedom and knowledge and to do this to a Google executive epitomizes how bad the Egypt people have it. Good riddance bad Egyptian government! Freedom to the people (and a little bread too).
