How come we are not hearing more about the economy in Egypt? Food prices shot up higher than in 2008. In 1977 there were massive riots when it was announced that the government would allow the prices of a list of essential goods to go up.

In 2006 and 2007 Egypt was swept by an unprecedented wave of strikes in both public and privately-owned factories and even in some government departments. In almost all the cases it was about pay.

Now we have huge unemployment of the recent college graduates. Sounds like "it is the economy stupid". (By the way, this same pot is simmering in China.)

Hear, hear doodah. You yourself have matured (here anyway).

...I do not understand WHY, if these people could live for 30 years with this evil dictator. WHY can't they tolerate 6 more months of him? (Too help a smooth transition). It's for the best welfare of their country as a whole. Basing opinion on the media's interpretation of events is a very limited and ignorant interpretation of overall reality. And is NOT in the interest of innocent people's welfare. Congratulations to Hillary Clinton, her comment at the beginning of this report was an appropriate response; and very professional (especially for her). Maybe there's hope for American leadership afterall (Maybe the baby-boomers Will Finally Grow-Up.)

Enough already, with the Egyptian Sensationalism. You're beating a dead horse. We can't do anything about it, Except make it worse. Let it run it's OWN course, and then do damage control principled with American values. All the empty talk and speculation is a recipe for Hypocrisy (and a 'Go Back to Start Card'). Put a Sock in your OVERLY-educated Mouths.
