The transcript of the lost part of the show, for your convenience:
But maybe the most, the first really thrilling moment in my dance life
was when I was 17 and went to the New York City Center, and there the
company that became the New York City Ballet later their year did
Ballanchine’s great work called "Symphony in C" to a symphony by the young
Beza, and watching that unfold changed my life.
CHARLIE ROSE: It changed your life?
ROBERT GOTTLIEB: Yes.
CHARLIE ROSE: What did it do?
ROBERT GOTTLIEB: Well, it steered me in the direction of dance.
CHARLIE ROSE: It changed your life because it gave you something that
you appreciated all your life within increasing passion.
ROBERT GOTTLIEB: That is right. And the passion is still there. The
dance isn’t always still there, but that is another story.
CHARLIE ROSE: Robert Gottlieb, the book is called "Sarah, The Life of
Sarah Bernhardt."

Such a great show! such a shame that the archived shows often end before they actually end. As just one recent example, so sorry not to have seen the wrap with Robert Gottleib. Can something be done to
'fade to black' AFTER Charlie says good-bye (to his guests)?
