A great interview. My intention was to hear Pacino. I am a big fan of his work. I have seen the Merchant of Venice several times and I am greatly impressed with the range and scope of his performances. Pacino has the talking style of the street, but the intelligence of the university. I consider Pacino the greatest actor today and it is a treat to have him at Charlie's table. Thanks of the interview.

This is a thoughtful, nuanced discussion of Shakespearean theatre, the craft of acting and the artistic advantages offered by cinematic renderings of plays. As a sidebar, your interview with Al Pacino was like witnessing an eclipse, rare and beautiful!
