      I agree. Animal research in general is archaic, and no longer necessary.

      Brain research should be done with imaging machines, instead of electronic probes inside the brains of chimps and lesser apes and monkeys. We have the technology to avoid the cruelty and inhumanity. We sometimes do not even try, but just say it is necessary.
