He's absolutely right about cap and trade. This is an area of industrial policy we need in order to direct and encourage investment, yet without the govt direction. I don't see how you can do any better. This is certainly an example of a shortfall in leadership. A good energy policy would have helped health care affordability, but health care will have no impact on energy, and given what was settled for, I expect little savings period.

A lost cause in our system, especially with Republican naysayers - for the sake of party politics over statesmanship. Cough, cough!
