Further, while I'm being peeved (disappointed really) at the Obama adm., tarring the Bush adm. is justified up to a point - which has been crossed. Now the time elapsed places the duplicity in Obama's camp. The SEC, the MMS and many other regulatory opportunists doubtless need overhauling after Bush and he better get on with it - pronto.

Evolving thoughts. Wouldn't it be great to know how much GS has in BP CDSs? And Exon? And all the other venal vultures?

Rahm and Barack are prob too similar. Both lean (swoon?) to sway of big money - the only thing that votes anymore. Started with Obama's sale to Mssrs Rubin and Summers during the campaign and spread epidemically since. Ask big Pharma.
Chi's loss our gain?
BP's blowout TRUE COST will in trillions. Their brand will be branded. Their remains will be absorbed for pennies on the dollar and liabilities renegotiated. The taxpayer will be slipped yet another unfunded liability as the pertinent pols pull their LOADED hands from under the (ex-BP) table.
They're all too-clever (by fractions) to REALLY PAY - all legitimate costs, when the taxpayers grandchildren are awaiting unsuspectingly in the wings.
Wait for Exon's bid, then buy BP. GS will.
