I thought Pelosi's comments reflected the mindset among current democratic leaders of strong disrespect, possibly even dislike, for their base. The democratic party has been deeply disappointing with the result that I plan to change my party affiliation away from democratic to independent today after the courthouse opens. I also plan to vote for every independent I can find on my ballot in November and again in 2012.

I am sick and tired of Obama's never ending need to get approval from the republicans. It reinforces public view of the democratic party as weak. Party abandonment of traditional democratic values is another reason not to vote for them. I see a democratic party that is determined to jump off a cliff and I see no reason why I should go with them.

Her support of Rahm was despicable and indicates the depth of the sell out of voters by the democratic party. Oh yeah, the mud she smeared Massa with didn't win any brownie points either.

Pelosi seems to me like a woman who gets excited by rough politics, looking dawn on others who doesnt share her view. ignorant. now in the politcal spectrum of america i guess her party stands closest to my views, i agree on many things she says, but she really is a "bully" isnt she?

with that said! anyone can have a bad interview, and this clip was heavily edited...

"Poor Baby" ???? Wow, but then why be surprised? Can hardly wait to hear the entire interview.

Madam Speaker's take on Congressman Massa: "Poor Baby!" A remarkable comment, indeed. Eric Massa represented New York's 29th district: he was a thoughtful, honest and critical Congressman who wasn't glued to his seat. I didn't share all of his views and wish that he could have modified his principles a tad if it comes to the Health Care Bill. But nobody deserves the 'Pelosi Treatment' we witnessed yesterday.

She sounds a lot like Dolly Parton. I wonder if she can sing that good.
