I would say not just larger than life, but a lot of antipathy, albeit coming from different directions. A lot was deserved, tho clearly the bias was not. Nothing can excuse CBS's behavior re Palin, no matter what her abilities. I think the question might have been less how women candidates are generally perceived, but whether the female electorate is of a mind to really exert itself about public issues, or, will, like the young, continue to make a lot of noise, and never follow through.

Boy, what a pretty target she makes. :) She seems obsessed over gender; I don't know, is that normal. I bet the males in her family are thrilled.
All I know, is that I don't like Hillary Clinton, and it's because she's a man. If she were a woman, I still would like her, because she's a female Richard Nixon. She is the Richard Nixon incarnate, just a little too touchy and power nutty, and not to mention, sneaky. Hell! If she were a man, she would BE, Richard Nixon.
On the subject of Sarah Palin, I like her, but god dam it, she has way too many distractions to be Vice President. Let's face it, her hands are way too full, and the fact that she can't see that, shows a lack of maturity.
