In my book he is a genius, what Nouvel is to buildings, Calatrava is to bridges and stations. They are never the same, each one very different, all very original.

At first glimpse of those bridges and that 'lit-up' building in Belgium, I thought, "Holy Shit". From a purely artistic view, nothing could be more pleasing to the eye. If his work 'functions' as well as it 'forms', then hats-off to him. He deserves all his success.
Although I think he should use more natural stone and brick to marry traditional with the landscape.

Dublin certainly needed something the last time I saw it, but haven't all large European railway stations been basically the same since the Crystal Palace?
