      It seems there's always been a tension between content providers and carriers, etc, but the newspapers were once completely vertically integrated from trees to delivery boys, and so were the great film studios. I would expect a move towards consolidation. How far the govt allows it to go would be the question if there's no one left to complain, because the US doesn't really believe in free choice or free anything else. Wikipedia might, BTW, be the model for new media more than YouTube.
