I guess i´d be ready to perish if anyone could help me carrying out the deed of watching Ms Blanchett performance in this play, one of my favourites alongside The Splendor of the Grass, portrayed by Ms Bancroft decades ago.

I was fortunate enough to see this production in New York and my husband and I were simply blown away. Cate's a great actress of course, but to see her as Blanche DuBois convinced me she is one of the greatest actors of all time. Liv's direction was sensitive and moving and that end will forever haunt me. Cheers to a job well done. I have seen this production many, many times on screen and on stage and this by far was the best. This will be a role & production I will take to my grave. Legendary I would say.
