Netanyahu's statement that the settlements are necessary growth, is reminiscent of Hitler's claim of the need for Lebensraum. There is no solution for the Palestinian question now except a "final" one or a United Nations mandate to sort it out and run the place. There's not going to be any two-state solution, nor anything short of justice for 100 years of abuse. Fattah seems to be a dead issue, too. If Israel attacks Iran they can consider American support at an end and therefore it would be suicidal. If somehow that proves to be not the American attitude, I'm sure it will spell the end of that administration. I would not follow Zinny's advice concerning Iran either. Everyone knows what has happened in Iran. The problem is what WE can do about it. The answer is nothing. And I'd think that should be the answer even if it looked like we could.
