      Her confirmation is a dissembling side-show and mind-candy for the masses. Like we were a literal democracy. We're commercialized, commoditized top down by the venality of the whores in government - made so by campaign finance laws and the concomitant lobbying industry. The results of which have turned our system to (coordinated?) oligarchs that alternate dominating the process as events dictate. Recently the Financial oligarchy were the master manipulators (purchasers), temporarily supplanting the MI oligarchy (but never for long as they are paramount), awaiting close by in the wings is the Health-insurance oligarchs - check books at the ready.

      Ask the oligarchs if they give a rats-ass about Sotomayor's judicial philosophy. It would concern them only to extent to where to direct their payments to override some fatuous decision that reduced their profits in some 'unamerican' way.
