I don't understand the logic of some people, the same people who praise, and even glorify, President Kennedy. Hate this mans guts. Why is that?, could it be, hypocrisy, a cornerstone of their psyches?.

This was President Kennedy's right-hand man. It was John F. Kennedy who got us into Vietnam so far up to our eyeballs with no way out. True, it was horse-ass Johnson leading the charge, but if you think for one minute that Kennedy would have been any different? No way! Why would he have sent us over there in the first place? What was his interest? .. Remember the bay of pigs?.

Evil is the justification of murder and as a conscious and capable being we are all capable of perpetuating its nature. Recognizing and accepting that we all must suffer the burden of individuals incapable or unwilling to except this rational will help us to build a society that seeks peace and justice as opposed to war and revenge.

Gandhi put it best… “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”

Makes one wonder if the very position - ego and power? - diminishes or dulls any sense of humanity. Killed millions with carpet bombing, napalming, agent orange (probably still killing to this day).

Should remove the Sec of 'Defense' euphemism and return to 'War.' Gates got it right. He's afflicted with the same disease, "No exit strategy." Just as the MIO (Military Industrial Oligarchy) want it.
