This is why people LOVE Dave Matthews and the DMB. The guy is smart, endearing, talented, and humble. Charlie Rose did a great job interviewing Dave, as he does with all his guests. Wait, did I get this right, Charlie went to see one of Dave's concerts? Nice.

Wonderful interview, Charlie. Dave Matthews is a great musician and an amazing spirit.

He may never realize it, but Mr. Matthews saved me a few months ago. About seven years ago I was fortunate to acquire one of his limited edition Martin guitars; one of only 234 made. He played one in your studio in a previous appearance. The guitar was one of my cherished treasures. It had a lovely tone and was easy to play. Despite the fact that I can not play anywhere near the level of Dave Matthews, it brought me many many hours of pleasure.

Along with many others in this economy, last fall I fell into economic distress- to put it mildly. So, I was forced to part with one of my prized possessions- my Dave Matthews Martin guitar. And the proceeds from the sale allowed me to stay in the fight for a couple of more months. Unfortunately, I am not out of the woods yet, but I am still plugging along thanks in no small part to Mr. Matthews and the guitar he helped create.

Thanks again for the interview. It brought back some great memories of great times and great music.
