      Thoroughly enjoyable.

His reasons for writing the Memoir can only be subjective/rationalised. Interestingly coming out as "holding on to them longer" for writing on such a personal subject.

I think he was such a good speaker, he began to believe his reactionary (pick a side and fight for it stance) slant.

      Both, wonderful writers/entertainers

I could never understand how someone with the wit, charm and intelligence of WFB could be a Republican. One of life's enduring mysteries.

I'm surprised the Manhattan Upper Crust and Conservative Power Bosses have not yet assembled a hit team from Blackwater to eliminate Christopher Buckley for daring to tell an accurate, honest, insightful story about two of the beacons of the Conservative movement and, sans Bonzo and Nancy, the single most powerful Conservative couple of 20th century America.

He was a "character" alright. Not many of them around anymore. I would say you either loved him, or hated him, but actually, I think a lot of ppl loved and hated him at the same time, like me.
