Hello! I like Charlie's first question.
I know these are novel.
But, CIA , spies , Iran,Iraq.. it might be a fiction novel close to non- fiction.
Thrilling! I want to read them someday.

Hey, body of lies Ignatius.
It's the torture, stupid!

Churchill didn't want to lower himself to torture German prisoners of war, but bombing civilian populations was another thing.

I don't think he is as bad as all that 'tufe. His beat is among that group, and he knows it well. He said at the start that he thought dignity the key to Arab relations.
As to 'Increments' I ask: "What do you think the OSS, SIS, etc did in WWII and the Cold War?"

I didn’t like this guy. Probably because he agreed with Cheney mostly. Of course they confirmed their tactics with double-blind tests and scientific analysis. And they’re all assured that America is still on the high moral ground. Still worth the metal?
The CIA runs the CS drone-missile killing of civilians in Pakistan. And he idolizes them.
He came off as a little-boy still into cops-and-robbers or is it cloak-and-daggers. To hell with him and his puerile book. His ilk are in the end war mongers that the world is in surfeit.
