tarufe, are you smoking something extra special?

I've been watching P&R and while there have been some brilliant moments of hilarity it is still a far less consistently entertaining show than The Office. The overlaying irony of that show stems from the subordinates being both on to the boss's hackery and complicit in it. This plays for charm in their interactions and generates more sympathy for the gang than each would otherwise elicit individually. The supporting cast on P&R on the other hand, seem largely unmoved by AP's character's clueless egomania, making their dynamic much less engaging as there is no one or side to root for. I will keep watching this show as I have faith in AP's talent to develop her project but I won't feel much loss if I missed an episode as I would for its successors on the comedy lineup.

Amy's great. I hope she can keep above her fame. Or would that below. I would have failed miserably. A strange balance. Is that what a Damocles sword is?

She pulls conflicting emotes out of me, like be successful, but be careful. I unfairly want her to be PTA mom as well. Success and PTA seems to conflict beyond resolution. Ah well may that be her largest problem. I think maybe I should be embarrassed - too personal. Blush!
