Does anyone related to NASCAR realize the wake, the wave of destruction caused by NASCAR?

Come on Mr. Rose...change...we want change...not the same destruction and applause for it.

Please for an answer...what good results from NASCAR?

NASCAR is a joke today and the costs associated with attending a race today prove it. It is advertising and marketing at its ugliest. The US auto industry jumped ship long ago. They used to say what won on a Sunday sold on a Monday. Today all the cars are identical with decals falsely claiming manufacturer support and wooing the NASCAR demo to purchase hillbilly products. JJ is the poster boy of all this media bunk. Not to mention our gov't dollars have gone to bailout these corporate talking heads. It used to be a brave bunch of gritty folks putting their own blood, sweat, tears and not to mention their money into getting around the track the fastest in order to swing through victory lane, kiss the girl and toast a beer or two. Having grown up in NC Mr. Rose should have fond memories of those days.

Sport? Perhaps. More technique required than turning left. My baser instincts, interest spikes only when calamity exists. Not enough to sustain more than a couple of minutes. I think I'm an effete snob re NASCAR. They wont suffer much.

I love Jimmy. He is a tremendous racer, probably one of the best ever. Class act. Nice for Charlie to have him on. Unfortunately, NASCAR takes to much time for working ambitious people. Also, the commercial breaks during the action is intolerable. Note to viewers:, you can see a 20 min resume of the races on the NASCAR site in the video section. You can't see it on your HD tv but it is action packed.
