      Bill Ackman is justly famous as a short seller. Did Rose not suspect that his comments on GM might reflect an interest in shorting the auto company? Should GM receive a bailout, Ackman's fund is in a position to lose a great deal of money on GM rise. Same with Target. There was a significant bump as a result of the recommendation at the end of the show. No doubt a quick sell off two days later. I wonder who had bought stock options just prior to the airing of the show. Charlie? Stock recommendations have no place on a PBS program.
