... of course, all that Frivolous Nonsense could be avoided, if America was Wise enough to elect 'Buddy Roemer', who would Zero in on the Real Problems and Fix Them. But the Eletists among us don't want anything to do with that, so
it is what it is

JG,
Though I did not see the CSPAN version of Huntsman that you mention; I did observe one of his earlier appearances on CSPAN (btw, CSPAN is the Best way to see the Real candidates behind the sound-bite facades frollicking unobstructed in their natural habitats); and I think he is a little too inammorated with his little Chinese bedfellows; which is only natural, since he was an ambassador there, and as such, has been indoctrinated into their little self-centered one-sided world view (Chinese). This is where I think you are correct though, Huntsman will (potentially) make a spendid Secretary of State for President Romney and Vice President Cain or President Obama and Vice Presidents Billary Clintons (whatever the case may be) (assuming Billary can keep their leching hands off of Lady Gaga (who is younger than their daughter (I saw the way they eyeing her like a piece of Meat (America isn't ready for a morally deficient lesbo vice pres, despite what the Left would Like). Now, having said that, they have to find a way to extricate themselves from the velcro like clutches of the Power-drunk type A(for Asshole) Joe Biden, without upsetting him enough to burn a cross on the White House lawn or cause a big stink, he Will want Hillary's job in return (fair Is Only fair). So maybe, the only job opening that can utilize Jon Huntsman's Best talents will be in a Romney administration; my logic being, Huntsman=Good Cop playing off of Romney=Bad Cop, is an Opportunity to make some Real head way in leveling the Responsibilies of Keeping World Peace with the rest of the emerging world. GoodCop/BadCop is the way it's done in the real world. It's the way crimes are solved, it's the way Business is done day in and day out, it's the Best way to negotiate (especially when dealing with an Unreasonable Customer / and what 'Customer' isn't? hence the psychology of the 'Sale', the something for nothing righteous mentality of greed). They will walk all over you/us if we just let them, but you don't want to chase them away either because that won't make for 'good business' either. It takes Team work; and if we/America can get the whole world onto the same team, we can beat them damn Russians at their own game. Excuse me, did I say Russians?. I meant, 'Martians'. We'll send them damn Martians back where they came from. And so Snoop-Dog and Chelsea Clinton can live Happily ever after and not get a divorce or repay any political favors for ever and ever and ever. Amen

UK Parliamentary talk (prime ministers questions on PBS) echoes this quarrel between Keynesian thought and conservative gibberish. That quarrel reveals that both left and right forces are corrupt to the nth degree. The each steal money as global promise remains hostage to ordinary human greed and immorality. Occupy the streets to call attention to cancerous inequality. And then pray we find the way for moral genius to guide our future away from repeating all past error out of habit. If we want the jobs that produce the goods to destroy poverty as they should, we will have to reform every sacred false assumption by feeding back results to our active steering wheel in real time for the right enlightened purpose.

doodee, our fearless commenter below, tells it as it is or as it seemed to me. EXCEPT:
o Having listened to Jon Huntsman on CSPAN when he spoke this same evening I am sure he is smarter than all the others, smarter than doodee's choice (Buddy Roemer)as well. He will become part of the next administration no matter who wins -- unless both parties are nuttier than I imagine. Huntsman is the voice of reason among the these fools who do not want the jobs we need as much as they want to appeal to primary voters even more misinformed than the candidates.
However, the desire to lower our budget deficit that us their common fault, is shared by Europeans and all the rest of the austerity Austrian school types whose failure to grasp the purpose and potential of a monetary system of production to conform to Keynesian models. The country club types and the socialist types too, have not yet recognized that money created on purpose offers job creating laws based on simple cash accounting -- if you get it.
o But does Huntsman, himself, get it. If he does he's afraid to say so.
o Assuming Romney wins and loses to Obama, and Huntsman enters the Obama cabinet or special post, will the Democratic leadership see that our job as Americans is to create the middle class economic rights to global economic security paid for by fiat money managed with the aid of the whole Information Technology industry and revolution.
o Huntsman stresses that China-America (Chimerica) is the preferred alternative to trade and greater war. It requires close ties with Japan, Russia, India, Europe and Brazil, all of which are being forged as we watch debates here an in the UK Parliament.
o The debates are between austerity (the potential destroyer of all progress) and managed centralized money creating authority (not yet in place except at the American Federal Reserve.) Doodee was right to be impressed by Charlie Rose's debate show. Now let us hope these street protesters get wise to the school of Maynard Keynes and the IT revolutionaries before they set in concrete our slavish repeat of all the mistakes we made in the 20th Century.

Wow. This was THE Best Political Debate, Town-Hall, Round-Table, Whatever, I have ever witnessed. Charlie Rose and especially the two Press Ladies Asked the Best , Most Relevant and Comprehensive Questioning; and This Format SHOULD be the Template for future such Debates, and whatever.
What I took from this, is that all these candidates have something to like and Dislike about them. They each one of them have their Strengths and Obvious Weaknesses.
The main thing similar amongst all of them, is that they all hold dear to them the Welfare and High Comfort of the Filthy Rich CHEATERS, like the good Country Club Republicans that they all are. I think if 'Buddy Roemer' were sitting at the table, a stronger light would have been shown on that Phenomenon.
Huntsman wants to keep the status quo with China; Romney wants to put their feet to the fire; Perry doesn't care about all that, he just wants to drill baby drill; Cain wants to keep it simple, Stupid; Ron Paul will never no what to do, except cry in his cornflakes; Michelle Bachman is the accountant from Hell; Santorum, who's he?; Das Newt wants to be the King of America, but he knows that's impossible so he'll settle for vice president.
And it gets a little better from there.
