If you had read "The Political Brain" (2007) by Drew Westen you would understand what is going on in the Obama-McCain race!

Halperin, you lying Likudnik. You said Phil Gramm, husband of Enron board member Wendy Gramm, did not make his "whiner" comments on tape. Bull----. Gramm made his "whiner" comments during a taped interview with the Editorial Board, also known as the Department of Right Wing Authoritarian Propaganda, at The Washington Times. Charlie, you're pathetic for letting that Likudnik spin his Neoconservative lies. Here's the proof, Charlie. Apologize for that Likudnik Halperin's Lies. http://www.wikio.com/video/316290

The comment by Chuck Todd that Obama, an African-American man, has not had to 'struggle' is priceless.

Mark Halperin is the least bias of all these so-called journalists, to me they just people with opinions and their views depend more on their ideological bent then on any facts, Chuck Todd couldn't even get the words out of his mouth that the President's educational policy had been a good idea Rose had to interrupt and correct him, sad just a bunch of hacks.

This is a good video because it is shows what the election is based on. Image. It is not about issues. It is pretty bad. I hope that the Dems win so that Americans can finally get Healthcare. Screw everything else.

What a useless boring waste of discussion time. Why would I watch Charlie Rose for this crap. Why not just fry my brain on CNN. This is the kind of superficial coverage and cynical obsession with who can/will win that has masqueraded far too long as political insight. God forbid we discuss the issues in any real depth. I agree with T.G. that Mark Halperin is just boring like everyone else on CNN. ABC keeps sinking to lower and lower depths. Gibson and Stephanopoulis keep prioritizing sensationalism and bogus sincerity for ratings over substance. Nightline is just an embarrassment since Koppel left. And, again, for the record. Karl Rove is a terrible campaign strategist. He lost the 2000 election, only won in 2002 (due to 9/11) and 2004 (with the scummiest of smear tactics typical of his worthless history as a cancer on the human race), and lost in 2006 hugely. How is this man a genius in any way? I guess I'll have to keep watching Bill Moyers for any sense of truth. PBS' Charlie Rose show should not be showing such drivel.

Halperin, disappointing, did seem to be exaggerating Obama's disconnectedness rather than helping to inform viewers by his observations.

This analysis of the Presidential election is a microcosm of what is wrong with America and its politics. Not any mention of the mess the American people are in and the pain which has been brought to them by the corrupt government working hand in hand with the corrupt business interests. These fools are putting way too much emphasis on perception. All Obama has to do is focus on McCain and Phil Gramm, his chief economics advisor, as a continuation of the Bush incompetence and Gramm being the prime reason there was no regulation of the finance sector which is the reason Americans are losing their homes, jobs and confidence in record numbers.

Chuck Todd, from his time at Hotline, has always sharp and insightful. Mark Halperin, on the hand, is nothing more than a dull conventional wisdom zombie who parrots empty cliches about Obama's alleged need to "prove himself" and "convince" some inattentive voters that he cares about the working man. Imagine that even as a young community organizer Obama was really a country club "elitist." To think that this know nothing now works for a supposedly reputable publication like Time magazine. Halperin was a perfect fit at ABC with his fellow inquisitors, Charlie Gibson and George Suffaluffagus Stephanopoulos.
