It is so disheartening when someone like Sydney Pollack who is so full of life and appears so healthy is taken out so seemingly quickly from us. Please note his fabulous performance in Eyes Wide Shut an underrated film that will soon be appreciated for what it is... A masterpiece. Thanks Sydney.

Sydney Pollack has an ability to get the best out of people. He directed and got the best performance out of Barbra Streisand in The Way We were - better than any acting she has done since. His movies are a joy and entertaining because they reflect his personality. He lives on through his movies. Thanks Sydney.

Mr. Pollack, a brilliant director, story teller, thinker, educator and, above all a true human being. What a huge loss, so early, so fast.We all hate missing his future films; he had so much left to tell us share with us, and, let us benefit from his talent.
