Do I detect a national yawn by the eastern sports writers? A mere mid-west upstart won the national championship. Why Kansas University is west of the Mississippi for cryin out loud. Nevermind that they beat the likes of North Carolina, Memphis (right on it, but the E. bank). We're enjoying it. Easterners dismay and fained disinterest merely adds to the mirth. GO HAWKS! Horrors, what if this is the beginning of a dynasty?
KU national champs - in OT. Nothin but net-n-heart. Go Hawks! Lawrence, KS going wild. A unique experience for young students and others not so young.
KU national basketball champs. Totally with heart and clutch playing. Chalmers 3-point shot to tie it at the buzzer a perfect example. Bill Self's selfless coaching perfect. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK! WELL DONE HAWKS! CONGRATULATIONS! WELL DESERVED!!!!
Stephen Curry maybe a great basketball player, but this tournament has many of them. Not all have lived such a priviledged life as son of an NBA player. There were many other players that could have been highlighted and who actually won their games. Go Hawks

I was disgusted with the way you North Carolina (state) guys--Billy and Charlie--hyped three of the final four teams--North Carolina, UCLA, and Memphis--but said little about Kansas, except to regret that Davidson didn't beat them. Billy said that NC had quality players that could come off the bench and play like stars. Well, Kansas also has quality players that come off the bench and play like stars. Billy evidently had not watched any KU games all year, judging by his comments during the game. Now, Kansas has won big, and has humiliated North Carolina. KU fans everywhere are very proud. ROCK CHALK, JAYHAWK, KU!!
Estimated 25k poured into downtown Lawrence, KS celebrating without being destructive, happily. With an enrollment of like 30k, the rest must have been in San Antonio. A credit to their civility. If they win it all, heres hoping their jubilation wont ruin the decorum demonstrated to date.
Please forgive my sophomorish pride, but I have to return here to exhalt my Jayhawks. They gave NC (Roy Williams) a (well deserved?) thumpin. Pride may go before the fall (Memphis is taller and possibly just as fast). But even so the fall from this level is so cushioned that the afterglow from this win will be hard to diminish. Lawrence, KS had 25,000 people celebrating downtown. With all the more serious things tugging at the world it's refreshing to feel good about something even if it's an inconsequential (that was hard to say) basketball game. Too bad times are not so innocent that the relative qualifier 'inconsequential' seemed necessary. Nevertheless, Iraq and recession aside for now, "ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK, KU!" GO HAWKS!
Stephen, the Davidson team, and the Davidson story continue to captivate us. Curry is a magical player that values his family, teamates and coaches, and institution. What a kid! We are blessed to be a part of his journey. Thanks Charlie for bringing us the Currys who make the big world of college basketball an intimate and special place.
Stephen Curry, I see that you (and your dad) are just as charming off the court as you are on it. You continue to make all of us Wildcats proud. Thank you. Go Davidson!

Stephen is a great role model. It's a privilege to see him on your show! We wish him the best of luck in the future.
If Stephen Curry can develop his passing game and his physique (getting a little stronger) could potentially by a starting point guard in the NBA. I think quite a few NBA teams would like him, because although he probably wouldn't be able to drive to the lane himself,he would free up the lane for his centres and forwards, by offering a significant offensive threat on the perimeter with his good shooting.
Stephen seems a class act. As a jayhawker I wish he were a senior.
